    After the last update I have played many hours. The stuttering is certainly better, I would say it is in line with Far Cry 5 and New Dawn, but it is undoubtedly still present. At first after the last update it was completely gone but it came back after a few hours. It's better because it does not stutter after picking up every single item anymore, so you can pick up a few items and then suddenly picking up the next item triggers the stutter. It is still annoying because in your mind you're waiting for the next stutter instead of just enjoying the game. My PC: Win 11 updated, 10700K (standard), 3080 FTW3 (standard), 32GB, Uplay + game installed together from the start on second (D:\ drive) Samsung 970 Evo Plus 4TB M.2 - my first (C:\ drive) Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1TB M.2 is dedicated to Windows and MS Office 365.

    I didn't buy FC6, because i lost my Trust in Ubisoft, since this Bug was completely ignored in FC 5 and FCND already.
    But below is a Video that shows how it looks for me in FCND.
    AND don't ask me for my PC Specs or if i did all Checks, that you permanently repeat to do.
    The Autosave Stuttering definitly is a Bug in the Game, no Problem on the User Machines!!
    Just as an Information: The Video is made with a Savegame of 175 KB and the Stutters began when it was ~78 KB and got more worse, the bigger the Savegame was growing.
    If you want, i can upload a 75 and the 175 KB Savegame, that you can reproduce the Problem on your own Machines.
    This is my last try, to maybe get some Trust into Ubisoft back, if you are serious trying to solve this Problem this Time. And also solve it for FC5 and FCND please.

    @redapg1 There is no point, they don´t want to fix this for unknown reasons. I´ve posted several videos from Far Cry 6 but to no avail.

    It´s sad because it´s such a great engine otherwise 😕

    @ywap Yes, it's unbelievable that this wasn't fixed in all affected Games already.
    There would be a simple Solution: remove the Autosave and bring back Quicksave and Quickload by hitting a Key.
    Problem solved
    I also expect that it will never be fixed, neither for FC6, nor for FC5, FCND,.....
    So, no more Money for Ubisoft from me. 😉

    Hello there!

    Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences with us, and for providing us with updated reports regarding stuttering / low FPS when the game autosaves.

    If you haven't already, please can you ensure that you provide us with all of the following information:

    • What are your system specs (CPU/GPU)?
    • Have you completed all of the steps on this basic PC troubleshooting support article?
    • Are you using the HD texture pack? If so, have you tried disabling this to see if the stuttering improves?
    • Can you please upload your affected save file to the cloud.
    • Please can you provide us with an image of your video settings.
    • Can you please share a video which demonstrates the stuttering occurring following an autosave?

    This information has been requested by the dedicated teams to help them to investigate this issue further.

    @weeswolf - Thanks for providing us with some of the requested information already! Would you please be able to provide us with the rest of the information requested above? In particular, we'd like to know the following:

    • Have you completed all of the steps on this basic PC troubleshooting support article?
    • Are you using the HD texture pack? If so, have you tried disabling this to see if the stuttering improves?
    • Please can you provide us with an image of your video settings.
    • Can you please share a video which demonstrates the stuttering occurring following an autosave?

    @redapg1 - I'm sorry to hear that you're encountering stuttering in Far Cry 5 and Far Cry New Dawn. If you would like to share a report for these specific games, then I recommend that you post within our Far Cry Legacy forums. This will prevent us from going off-topic within this thread about Far Cry 6.

    Please note that we have stopped post launch support on Far Cry 5 and Far Cry New Dawn, and have no further updates planned for this title at this time.This being said, our team will gladly look into this further and see if there's any additional troubleshooting we can provide to help alleviate the stuttering you're experiencing in both of these games.

    @Ywap - It looks like the video you've shared is from November 2021. Do you have any recent videos following the release of Title Update 5? The dedicated teams are interested in acquiring videos of the issue persisting on the currently version of the game, as that will help them to look into this further.

    Thanks! 😊

    @Ubi-Borealis I would post in the above mentioned Forum, if i would see a serious Interest from Ubisoft, to solve that Bug in FC5 and FCND.
    But as you have written already (...we have stopped post launch support on Far Cry 5 and Far Cry New Dawn....), i don't want to waste my Time with trying to help to solve it.
    There have been a lot of Reports and Support Tickets being sended to Ubisoft in the Past already, but Ubisoft didn't care for them at all.
    And you also repeat the same Thing:

    If you haven't already, please can you ensure that you provide us with all of the following information:

    • What are your system specs (CPU/GPU)?
    • Have you completed all of the steps on this basic PC troubleshooting support article?

    This information has been requested by the dedicated teams to help them to investigate this issue further.

    That was sended by the Users again and again already and was only wasted Time.

    As said, i can offer to upload a 75 KB (no Stuttering/Freezes) and a 175 KB (massive Stuttering/Freezes) savegame, that you can reproduce the Problem on your Machines.
    I, and also Others, have offered that in the Past already.
    Why there never was a Reaction from Ubisoft, to send them the Files??????
    And the Stuttering/Freezes don't appears after the Autosave, they appear before the Save.
    So the Suspicion is, that it has something to do with the Way the Data gets collected or something else in that Direction.
    It has nothing to do with writing Speed to the SSD or something like that.

    If Ubisoft is really interested in trying to solve that Problem also for FC5 and FCND, here i am, ready to send the Files or other Things that can be helpful.

    Why is this problem set to RESOLVED? I just started the game and like already described "nearly no stutters on santuario" and after arriving the first main camp stutter with every AUTOSAVE.
    I will check the troubleshooting, but instead of "deactivating HD textures" it seems basic support stuff. So not much hope.
    I can't believe Ubisoft gave up and could not reproduce that.

    @pagandee
    So after some testing I resolved it for me. Seems that "deactivating HD textures" is not enough.
    After deinstalling the HD textures via Ubisoft Connect the "Autosave stutters" disappeared completely. Changed nothing else.

    @pagandee Thank you for the update !

    I've taken note of your report, and I'm glad to hear that you can now enjoy Far Cry 6 without FPS Issues !

    @redapg1 As both Far Cry 5 and Far Cry New Dawn have HD texture packs, can you check if the problem persists after deactivating the HD texture packs ?

    Should the problem persist afterwards, I invite you to reach out to us via the Far Cry Legacy forums, where a specialist will check with you what can be done.

    If you have questions, or for any other Issue, don't hesitate to message us !

    @Ubi-MrM Yes, my post is for people who find this thread in hope to see a solution.

    UPDATE:
    Today the Autosave stutters were back. Then I remembered another change
    --> Task Manager
    --> Details
    --> Farcry.exe context menu
    --> Set Priority to real time

    And no more stutters for hours (before: >1/min). So maybe THIS was the solution. Will try tomorrow with HD textures and "realtime priority".

    Hope these tips helps someone.

    Just bought a Ubisoft+ month and against better judgement i installed the game again just to confirm my suspicion.

    So, this time (2022-11-30) on the following system:12700k, 32 ram, RTX 3080 and installed on a Kingston KC3000 1tb M.2 SSD.

    This is how it the current Far Cry 6 build act when picking up loot. I´m not sure if it´s fair to label this issue as [Resolved]?

    @Ywap Hi !

    I've taken note of your report, as well as the video you provided, and I'm sorry to hear that the Issue impacts your experience in Far Cry 6 !

    In order to isolate the Issue, I invite you to let us know the following :

    👉 Is the HD texture pack installed ? If yes, does the problem still happen after removing it ?

    👉 Does the Issue persist after checking the steps provided by @pagandee (thanks again for sharing them here by the way !) regarding the priority of the game ?

    Feel free to reach out if you have questions, or for any other Issue !

    @Ubi-MrM Hello MrM

    Yes, i have tried everything suggested that you mentioned but the problem still persist.

    This has been a problem with all the latest Far Cry games when you have played for a long time. You can clearly see the stuttering in the frametime graph and the white save symbol on the upper right. Would it be possible for anyone on the game engine programmer team to respond why this issue have to persist?

    I mean, it doesn´t happen in Ubisofts other games with different engines like Assassins Creed, Division, Watch Dogs etc.

    Hey @Ywap,

    Thanks for getting back to us.

    As such members of the development team aren't active on the forums, we wouldn't be able to provide such an answer.

    To allow us to take a further look however, could you please open a case via our Help Site and attach your DxDiag and MSinfo system files?

    If you have any issues with this, please let us know.

    Much appreciated!
