    I can`t launch the game anymore. After the warning before playing it shuts down. I`ve played it for around 20h and it worked fine. Since saturday it won`t launch. I`ve also verified the game files two times.

    Hello @flexthecopycat and welcome to Discussions. Sorry to hear you can't launch the game and verifying game files did not help to solve the issue.

    You have mentioned you are receiving the warning, can you provide the screenshot of this warning or any errors you are getting?
    Note that they can be a maximum of 2,000 pixels in length, 2,000 pixels in height, or 2MB in filesize. Alternatively, they can be uploaded to any other website of your choice, and a link sent to us here on the forum thread.
    Also, please run through the rest of this FAQ as it is designed to resolve these issues.

    @ubi-oxavo Hi thanks for the fast reply. Its just the in game warning when you start the game. After this warning the game shuts down it self and I can`t do anything to stop that. I tried to install it again but that also didnt helped.

    So the game shuts itself down after you see the splash screen, after launching?

    There may be a number of reasons the game may be refusing to launch now. To try and narrow this cause down, please give Oxavo's troubleshooting steps a try in this guide, as they contain the most common fixed for crashing games >

    Can I also ask, when you last played the game successfully, did you make any changes to the settings at all, such as display, video graphics you can remember?

    @ubi-milky Yes the game shuts it self down after the in game warning when you launch the game. After the standard in game warning, the game stops working and shuts it self down. I`ve verified the files two times, and I`ve also installed the game again but it keeps on happening. I did mot make any changes what so ever, in game or with my setup. I tried all the steps in the link you send, but the game keeps on crashing. I played it for around 20 hours in totall and it worked fine. The last time i`ve played it was last thursday 25 november, since saturday the 27th it stopped working and kept on failing to work.

    I'd like you to check two more things that are not listed in the troubleshooting guide, which would be to check your anti-virus or built-in Windows anti-virus, Defender, in case it is blocking certain Valhalla files and preventing it from launching.

    Make sure the game is not quarantined as a threat in your anti-virus software if using any and please also check in your 'Protection History' in your Windows 'Virus & threat protection settings, by looking for this option for this in your main settings on Windows.
    If any game files are quarantined as a threat, this can stop the game from launching or connecting online.

    Afterwards, please run a System File Check (SFC) for any corrupted system files and a CHKDSK for any corrupted hard drives or missing files on your system which may be causing these crashes >
