    I would like to make a feature request for an upcoming game update. I would like to have the ability to save build patterns. Preferably it shouldn't matter whether the buildings are actually constructed or still in blueprints.

    Why? As I have a min-max playstyle I often build the same patterns to fit the maximum number of farms/factories around a trade union. I also have a couple of preferred city patterns. With every new game I have to recreate these building patterns again and again which is a) time consuming and b) not all that much fun anymore after the umpteenth time.

    These patterns could be made accessible through a special category on the build bar. Because the build bar is already scrollable this could potentially allow for dozens of patterns to be saved and recalled. I am aware that this might cause problems with patterns containing end-game buildings. Such patterns could be unlocked whenever all buildings in that pattern are unlocked at their usual point in the game.

    Perhaps as a bonus we could import patterns made by Anno Designer?

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    Yes please. Especially the import from Anno Designer.

    Failing this, please can we have the ability to copy builds from the Old World to Cape Trelawney. I often use the same patterns for both Housing and Factories in both regions. Same in New World if one of the Season Pass 4 DLCs creates a second New World session.

    @nathilion

    Yes please.

    And if we are gonna save them anyway also add a possibility to share them 🙂

    I would love to have this feature, too. It would save a lot of time while playing 🙂
