The ability and option to select your operator’s rate of fire has been in the game since day 1, and has been apart of several other Rainbow Six games. It just seems unnecessary and limiting to players to remove this feature. While it is not the most popular feature, the ability to change your rate of fire is a tactical gameplay strategy. Please return the select fire feature to the game!

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@mhmelo99 Permanent full auto-fire is just another drag towards making Siege exactly like all the other e-sport shooters, which UBI seems to really, really want now. If they're serious about this, they need to go full bore. Not only should they remove the select fire options, they need to remove the magazine limitations completely. If your gun has 200 rounds? You fire 200 rounds, no reloading. After all, having to realistically, tactically stop and reload your weapon just 'slows down' the game, right?

I so agree with you it’s bad when I want to bring a regular pistol as my secondary weapon because of the fire select is gone because who wants to shoot ten bullets at a camera not me for sure.

@sorakotw Make of him what you will, but to me, this dude basically spends his free time trolling the forums, swooping in wherever he can to progress his own dogma. Read his post history and take note of the kinds of responses he makes, the post topic, and the kind of language he uses. Including the old forum as well, since that's the majority of his responses.

But anyways, if you used single fire, you are basically trolling, cheating, or bad.

Absolutely no reason to remove this. The people who didn't use it don't benefit by it being removed, and the people who do use it are negatively affected.
