Like the title says. She's supposed to provide electricity to "All Production Buildings".

Yet she does not provide it. At least not for Chemical Plants. I'd argue that counts as a production building, but that might not be the case for some reason. Description is a bit misleading if so.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@upana i dont like this either.... can't boost with any other production items. However, I think it is by design that forces you to be efficient.

The Ubisoft guys have responded in previous threads that items that act on "all production items" do not affect the buildings introduced in Tourist and High Life DLCs. The most obvious example of this is the Chemical Plants, the Artisan Workshops and the Assembly lines. Apparently the rationale is that these buildings are Multi-Factories (https://anno1800.fandom.com/wiki/Multifactories?so=search: (https://anno1800.fandom.com/wiki/Multifactories?so=search)), which is different to Production Buildings. Note that I'm not saying that I like this, I am merely passing on what I have been told. Personally, I think it's mis-leading, but we are where we are.
I do agree about the Chemical Factories needing more items that can boost them. Some types (especially New World) only have one boost, which isn't much. Maybe in Season 4, which is going to concentrate on New World, they will add some more. You need a lot of ethanol if you have a lot of skyscrapers.
