Same happens here. Just installed it on a fresh windows 11 install 2-3 days ago.
Freezes and goes in a unresponsive window state after 10-20 minutes. Every single time I launch it.
Tried the EasyAntiCheat workaround to set affinity to core1, but crashes anyways.
Only after 1-3 crashes, it will be stable for several hours.
Also submitted a case report about it via Ubisoft ticket system.

I tested a lot of possibilities. Everything I've read on the internet already, for a good week, and more, reinstalled everything etc... nothing worked, random crashes, return to desktop, frezzes... and after reading this post, I I deactivated in my BIOS the optimization of my processor and my ram, put everything "by default"... it works! No more crashes for hours of play now! I only lose a few Mghz of ram speed, but the game is stable again like before this last patch!

Hey there @nedgamer63, thanks for taking the time to get in touch, I'm sorry to hear that you have also been affected by these issues. I appreciate that you have already performed some troubleshooting steps, I just want to check here, did you follow the steps in this technical troubleshooting article? If not, I would recommend you go through it. As these steps can help rule out many of the common causes for technical-related issues.
If you have done that, could you please go through the steps shared above by my colleague and reach out to us with your DxDiag and MSinfo files?

Hey there @brohoodman and @Adrian-11, thank you both for sharing some potential alternative solutions here, I greatly appreciate it! It is important to note that Ubisoft cannot promote editing or modifying the BIOS as every system is unique and different. Players are welcome to try any similar changes but would be doing so at their own risk.
I have also just taken a look into it from my end and I am afraid we do not have any updates to share regarding these frequent crashes. Our teams are still investigating.
If anyone has any further questions or experiences any other issues, please do not hesitate to reach back out.

Instead of deflecting the blame to peoples hardware lets take responsibility and patch something find the problem its always the same thing do better this is ridiculous this game is not worth it price with this many problems give me a refund.

@deadeyedevil So I went through the normal actions the other day, but it didnt work out in my favor. I posted a complaint about the game through ubisoft's contact us section. Anyway, I ended up downloading and updating the Bios on my ASUS motherboard, running the windows system file checker and then reinstalling the game. Something in there seemed to improve the performance of the game.
Regardless, I played all afternoon on Division 2 and was only Delta'd once. My game has not frozen, crashed, stuttered then gone to windowed mode and then crashed, etc. and I am very pleased about that. I hope this is the last time I have to visit the forums, but I will try to provide some update after a couple of days of playing to a week. There is some supplemental information below for the actions I stated above...Good luck everyone!

- Click Start.
- In the search bar, type CMD .
- Right-click CMD.exe and select Run as Administrator.
- On the User Account Control (UAC) prompt, click Yes.
- In the command prompt window, type SFC /scannow and press Enter .
- System file checker utility checks the integrity of Windows system files and repairs them if required.

@b_fuddle I am seeing this posted everywhere across all platforms. I have dumped 100+ hours in the last 2 months on my ps5. Not a single crash or error before this update. Things I’m experiencing are;
Delta03 errors. Constantly. Game will stop reacting. I can still operate my character, but all AI actions are completely nonfunctional. Damage included. Then Delta screen.
Alpha02 errors. Mostly when trying to sign back in after previously mentioned situations.
Most fun of all, I will get no errors. But the game will stop responding like I’m experiencing one. Meaning I’m stuck in whatever area I find myself. Cannot open doors, fast travel, or even logout. Must hard close the game.
These situations occur everywhere. Free roam, summit, invasions, even BoO. As said before I’m playing on Ps5. Running to a 5g LAN 450mbps. It’s not my connection.
Really hope this gets fixed. It’s the only game I want to play right now.
Everything works without crashing now, and for hours today, and last night too. I installed DV2 on another disk, it was on a recent Nvme samsung, I put it on an SSD, on which I always installed it before when I played it, and no more crashes, even in DX12 ultra ...
I will try to be clearer. The game crashes when I install it on my brand new samsung NVME, on C. Before, when I never crashed, I installed it on D, an SSD. So I reinstalled it on D and since then no more crashes.

its a bad joke ! the game worked well all day yesterday and part of the morning, and there, after now, after what you call a maintenance (...) again serial crash !!! I am 55 years old, I had to reinstall my windows 10 times, in W10 then 11, older drivers etc ... such and such an option... frankly, I am losing patience in the face of such a disaster, I am wasting my time!
Just done 3 countdowns... start at 8, finish at 3 or 4 max, almost DC !

How much longer is the Development team going to ignore a major game-breaking technical issue on PC that has only worsened since the release of TU15?

After over a year of no new content, I was actually looking forward to getting back into D2. But these random freezes are just too much to take and now they are saying there won't be any progress on fixing them until TU16? Unacceptable, you are just telling your PC player base that you just don't care. Do you honestly think they are going to stick around for another 2 months for more broken promises of things being fixed.

Really bad move from Yannick and all Team Members of TD2, they are bleeding out the Player Base to get attention from UBI Management. I was heading towards 10K SHD Level but have stop playing because of the increased amount of crashes and more new bugs I've never seen before like:
- switching to Pistol and can't shoot
- Frame Drops
- BSOD caused by Easy Anti Cheat

I was somewhat stable for a bit but after the latest maintenance , the game completely broke again for me. It's been crashing like there is no tomorrow. Mind you, this is the only game that crashes on my box, and I play a LOT of games.
So yeah, here I am again, not being able to play one of my favorite games. This has been going on for far too long, ubi. really. get your stuff together and push this "fix" , ASAP. lets just hope this really DOES fix the crashes, since you've tried
before to no avail. I mean what if this fix doesnt actually work? what then?
