Excuse me. Screen tearing in FarCry6 on Xbox series X have not been fixed until now.(1/5/2022)
This issue occurs both on 4K display and FHD display.
I capture the the most explicit moment.
Please watch it on a small window or on your smartphone. You will see the tearing from bottom to above.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hello @yjsnpkmr. Thanks for getting in touch and please accept my apologies for not getting back to you sooner.
I am sorry to hear you are experiencing the screen tearing on Xbox and thanks for the video and screenshot provided.
We need to investigate this further, therefore I would kindly ask you to answer the following questions:
1) What monitor/tv you are using? You have mentioned you tried to reproduce the issue and it occurs on 4K and FHD displays.
2) What video settings you are using (in-game and console video settings)? Please provide images of those settings. Note that they can be a maximum of 2,000 pixels in length, 2,000 pixels in height, or 2MB in filesize. Alternatively, they can be uploaded to any other website of your choice, and a link sent to us here on the forum thread.
Please also try changing the refresh rate of your TV & Xbox, to see if it makes any difference (in the “TV & Display Options” menu in the Xbox settings).
Don't hesitate to get back in touch if you need our help.
Hey @yjsnpkmr, I just want to elaborate further on what KopfSmertZz mentioned, if your TV supports VRR, you could look into enabling the feature to see if it eliminates the screen tearing. Enabling VRR means your TV will be able to adjust its refresh rate in real-time to the frame rate of Far Cry 6.
@KopfSmertZz - thanks for pointing that out, I appreciate it.
If you have any questions regarding this, please let me know!
@ubi-oxavo
Thank you for your reply.
1.Monitor
My monitors do not support VRR.
I use the HDMI cable designed for Xbox.
1.1 FHD “TOSHIBA 32S24” 32V 1080p60fps SDR
1.2 4K “SONY KJ49X9500G” 49V 4K60fps HDR
2.Video settings ( 1080p SDR)
Hello @yjsnpkmr and thank you very much for all the information provided.
This will be forwarded to the development team for a further investigation, please rest assured that our developers are aware of the issue are doing their best to fix it, however in the meantime we don't have any official info on how long will take.
