I noticed if you play in offline mode, various DLC items are gone in the main game, if you restart the game later in online mode, you get them back but still, i payed for the Vaas and Pagan DLC for example, yet i can't use their jeep's in the main campaign if i don't have internet? Why is this?

Same for other DLC, like for example all Jungle pack clothes, they just disappear if you are in offline mode.

My savegame is already in the cloud for another issue.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    Hey @guibmaster ,

Thanks for reaching out to us with this, sorry for the delay.

This is likely due to a connection being required to confirm ownership for certain content, but we'll check this with the team.

Just to confirm - is it only the certain items you've listed? You're still able to access major DLC content such as the additional quest modes?

    Thanks for answering!
Yes i am still able to access the DLC itself in offline mode. It is all of the DLC vehicles. However, in offline mode i do have their respective clothing items. (for example pagan and vaas' clothing, i do have unlocked)

For example also the Far Cry Blood Dragon car, that one i would love to use in my main game but it disappear if i'm in offline mode.

Other examples would be the cars from the Vice pack, crock pack and jungle expedition pack, however i do have all of those pack's clothing in offline mode.

@guibmaster Thanks for those items for us.

To confirm do the items show as locked in offline mode or do they just not appear in your inventory?

@ubi-keo They don't appear at all.

@guibmaster Thanks for confirming this and for letting us know that you are unable to access certain content in offline mode.

I have spoken to the Far Cry 6 team and they have confirmed that this is working as intended and to access all of the content you would need to play the game in online mode.

@ubi-keo this isn't working as intended, I payed for dlc items for my singleplayer game, yet you are saying i cannot access part of those items if i happen to be offline? It is incomplete. DLC items that i spend money on should be accessible in offline mode obviously.

Why allow people to use only clothing items and not vehicle items anyway. This is backwards, it is a singleplayer game, we should be allowed to use whatever we want, whenever we want, because we spent money on it, it is bought and payed for.

I will definitely not buy any new packs, knowing this is "working as intended".

@guibmaster I can understand you frustration and I can only apologise. Unfortunately some of the items require a connection to the Ubisoft services in order to access them.

I will forward your feedback on to the Far Cry 6 team.

@ubi-keo ye sorry to bump an old thread but I'm afraid this will need fixing as that is worse if Ubisoft actually intend to lock some of our bought and paid for content behind an internet connection, I will need access to all of MY content.

As I am worried when the games servers are closed Ubisoft are going to have stole our money and our paid for items will be gone forever which is really bad consumerism I know Ubisoft love getting our money of us but atleast give us everything we pay for in whatever state we choose to play our game and content we paid for...

    Thanks in advance Ubisoft 🙂

    Hey @hourlywig4

I understand your concern on what if the servers are ever discontinued, and this is something that would need to be looked into if this is going to happen, and if content was lost that had been paid for, it would be something the teams responsible would then look into resolving.

@choonghuh I didn't say that. There's also been no announced plans to make the game offline that needs to cause any concern of content to be lost.
