    Hello,
Together with my teammates, we are trying to gain Rapid Response Merit commendation. We tried 2 different ways.

    • We used mounted weapons only once in the run (only the 41 or 45, not once each of them). We were able to defeat Boomer with 7 tries from mounted weapons, maybe all agents need to 'touch' the weapon?
    • We used mounted weapons only once per fire (continued without brakes) but each of us used 41 and 45 once.

Any ideas why these methods are not working? Or there is a bug?

    Greetings from LGM-PL,

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@ewqua94 You have it a little confused. No one raid party member can use the same mounted gun more than once. Given the two guns, 41 and 45, that means no one agent can INTERACT with the guns more than twice, once per. That means, if you grabbed a mounted gun, and were staggered (ie. by a grenade) or otherwise had to release it, you can no longer touch that gun.

You should be able to kill him in less than 7 downs... at two plus armor bars per downing. The more laps you guys run, the greater the risk in failing the objective.

@v4mpir1 if you can, the easiest way to do this is to one shot boomer so really only three people touch a turret. two to destroy the nobes then one to down boomer. other than that you have to rotate and make sure each person who gets on a turret only touches 41 once and 45 once.

@stack1215 Yeah, the actual method employed will vary from team to team; from eight-minute Dark Hours speed runs, to a lengthier, more casual, less coordinated execution.

However, as we've both iterated, the qualifier is no one pressing to interact with a given turret more than once.

Challenge descriptions may be translated, vague/ambiguous, erroneous, or otherwise insufficient in conveying the presets. There may also be failed registries (ie. bugs, connectivity issues, etc.). This particular challenge [English] description is accurate, making miscomprehension issues more likely to be caused by inadequate translations or other language barriers.

Ultimately, Ewqua94, it's critical that the raid commander has adequate situational awareness and vigilance. While I have run groups that flawlessly executed this phase per the challenge and it 'simply' failed to register on some players' accounts, forcing a subsequent attempt, the more likely occurrence is that one individual lost focus and disqualified the team. It's also imperative that the team has effective communication, esp. in the presence of potential hiccups. Lastly, if you have any players with ADHD, anxiety, diminished impulse control, or other relevant disorders, make sure to keep them on a V-E-R-Y... S-H-O-R-T... leash for this challenge.

Is it still a thing that the Commendation only triggers if any agent only uses one turret at all (so either 45 or 41)? Back when we did this Commendation the last time (ages ago) it would not be unlocked if done as written in the description.

The description says "without any agent using the same mounted weapon more than once" where the Commendation only would be unlocked "without any agent using a mounted weapon more than once".

@noxious81 That appears to have been corrected, so you can rely on the listed "once per gun" as accurately representing the preset.
