Imagine running arround, aiming at stuff, bandaging up, getting instashot with pinpoint accuracy the moment you dare to aim at an enemy and ambushed from behind all the while trying to fire your gun at enemies in cover and doing trash damage or having no armor. Imagine that for a second. I don't see myself doing that stuff, in fact i'd feel really stupid doing that.

As i write this down i'm sitting behind a car and i can hear enemies dying. All i had to do is press e and q once. I take no damage, i dish out more than any red build could dream of and i am completely safe and comfy. I even have 2 additional targets for the enemy to shoot at wich are both waaaaaaaaay more tanky than me.

But fear not dear developers. I came up with a BRILLIANT solution: See the circle indicator that says you're a red build for example? How about giving them some threshold advantages like reduced damage taken while shooting from cover and some armor leech. There, fixed the balance in one simple swoop. I expect my check in the mail.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Congratulations! You found the turret/drone skill build. Huzzah!

As for you waiting for a check, I'd suggest pulling up a chair. The game already has options for reduced damage while doing different things and armor on kill.

We already have talents that heal on crits, give passive healing whenever you kill people, armor regen stat that also appears in few brands and a literal exotic about leeching from enemy bleed

My Red builds put out multiple times more damage than a skill build. Gunner + Memento give me armor back constantly. Unbreakable doubles my armor in case I do make a dumb mistake. We seem to be playing different games?

Glass Cannon is for seasoned players who like to get sweaty. If that's not you, don't use it. Unbreakable offers 400% more survivability, while only hitting 25% softer. Memento is BIS on the backpack, but if you don't have that and need survivability, use Bloodsucker. For groups, swap that for Clutch, as it doesn't rely on kills. Once you get better at using an all red build, then consider moving to more offensive talents - but you don't really need them.

The tools and combos are out there already, you just need to find them [or ask others who already did the leg work].
