Dear Division fans, I posted this in Reddit forum as well. I recently found a secret place where I am wondering whether there is a secret attached. Found nothing so far.

Directly below the Brooklyn Bridge in Division 2, at the coastline of East River, there are red pillows in the water. In a narrow spot between these red pullers you can go into the water and walk over a sandbank till you reach the huge bridge pillar in the river. There you can find a nice street art on the pillar. On the right side of the pillar you can reach the back side when jumping over the container. On the backside you will find 3 usual loot crates with random stuff and a dead men with board games. Nothing spectacular but I was wondering whether there is any secret hidden at this place because I cannot imagine that they designed and developed that spot only to put some loot crates there.

Does someone know something about it?

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

I found this place quite early on after the New York expansion was added. It hasn't featured in any of the missions, side missions or activities so I guess it was put there for players like me (and you) who like exploring and spelunking. There are three weapon crates and one armour crate in addition to the dead guy who must have lost at the game "Deathrow" that he was playing.

I can be wrong about this, but isn't that the spot where if you shoot the sun you get 30 fire bullets?

I know there is a place near the water that does that, it's a reference/Easter egg to Zelda (to get fire arrows)
I just can't remember if it was where you said.

If not it's probably just for the 3 loot boxes.
Or the board games are the Easter egg.
