    nah didn't think so...

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

sooooooooooo why'd they introduce the horkos and chimera again?
this hero marks the third thing/entity who didn't give a crap about who's who and what's what

Probably the same reason they introduce powerfull draconite that never again was spoke about... And as it appears, in a chaotic world after the cataclism and 1000 years medieval world war with swords and axes...in a world with no resources, not even water...they found a way to still find gunpowder and sulfur.... Lmao

Never saw nothing like this...what a genious thinker that had this idea... Lmao

It's more of a case that they've contradicted them self's time and time again.... it gets a bit tedious.

well somebody must, they would of got rid of it. what point does it have other then to feed the one faction that always seem to win? what's stopping them from just removing it? if they can change the combat system like they did they can certainly remove it/ replace it with something more worth while.

@undondory they should remove it. But the problem is it was one of the important selling points when the game first came out

@picoancus they have resources my friend, but not the resources to maintain a high human population, I mean water thus crops and most forms of food.
But minerals they have plenty, every item that has no life they have plenty. even more after the declining of the world population.

What they have: lots of fish, lot of minerals/rocks/elements and lands unclaimed.
What they didn´t have at the first phase after the cataclysm was water, organization, thus many died from starving.Later from wars to claim the water and food resources.
The vikings even evolved physically to withstand such harsh conditions, thats why when the world started to return to "normal" they had a population boom.

even draconite could be a new element from the insides of our world, or at least an alchemist combination from unknown metals from the insides of our world. The cataclysm could throw this elements to the surface.

remember in for honor the year is the 2100 AD. Many things in their universe should differ from our timeline.
Also faction war could be transformed to great events, there are many great ideas out there but UBI don´t even try.
Currently I agree is weak, but it could be a great source of lore and events.

Well buddy...im dont like the way things are going in For Honor. I will see this new hero debut, and see every 6 in possible 8 players playing him in dominion and ear more pistol shots than in a Medal of honor PvP. Thats looks very fun...

Ill will look at other games. Its stupid. They just blow this game more every time they make something "new".
Im a Medieval time lover and knowledgeable, and was that turn this game appealing in 2017. Now its just garbage. The lure sucks...faction war its irrelevant... And heroes are just comercial. New one the better and more meta turning the almost others absolete.

The article as well as on stream said they would not be a faction that can be chosen nor participate in the faction war. Lore reason for the latter is "they don't want land."
That still begs the question on why they're showing up and just picking fights with everyone. But i'm sure Y6 when it's introduced next den will give us more clarity.

I'm assuming there's a few reasons for Wu-lin's situation. They probably didn't originally plan (structurally) for the Wu-lin as a faction. This matches up with the idea that game wise people have largely not cared about the faction war. At best it's been small bragging rights. They've tried a few different things to make the FW more appealing but it's never worked out. IIRC they admitted that they pretty much gave up on the faction war map since they can't make it interesting and the community doesn't seem to interact with it at all. Given the smaller studio they likely have I very much doubt they want to spend more resources on it.

We already see them cutting corners elsewhere so we can continue to get some level of content and balance support.
