I HAVE AN OPINION.... IN THIS GAME WE HAVE A LOT LOT OF WEAPONS WITH VERY NICE AND BRUTAL FINISHER'S!!! IN MY OPINION THIS LITTLE AXE ON THE BACK ITS USELESS I DON'T SAY TO REMOVE THIS BUT FOR EXAMPLE WHILE I'M PLAYING WITH A VERY GOOD AND FAVOURITE WEAPON AND STUNNING AN ENEMY LIKE A MARKSMAN WHY TO FINISH HIM WITH THAT LITTLE AXE IT'S RIDICULOUS AND INSTEAD OF THAT UBISOFT CAN ADD MORE BRUTAL AND COOL FINISHERS FOR THE WEAPONS.. IT'S A LITTLE ANNOYING AND A NONSENSE FOR EXAMPLE. LET US SAY I AM PLAYING WITH GUNGNIR.... I HAVE ODIN'S SPEAR WHY TO PULL THAT LITTLE AXE TO FINISH AN ENEMY??????? IN MY OPINION IT'S USELESS AND BUGGY FOR A TIME TO TIME

@boss_fighter27 They'd have to make several finish animations for every weapon in the game or at the very least every weapon type ..... What it looks like to me is all they did was reused the Leonidas Broken Spear animations from Odyssey only using the axe instead. Part of the problem is PS4/Xbox One compatibility which means because of their limted resources and power when you add a new feature to the game engine you have to take away something else to make room for it ... You have a fixed budget of memory space, CPU and GPU cycles available and they maxed it out 3 or 4 games ago
Once developers drop support of that old obsolete hardware games should start getting better until they max out the resources available on the PS5/Series X .... If both Sony and Microsoft shortened their development cycle from 7 years to 4 they would avoid this issue ......
