    Hello there,

    I apologise for the delayed response. I'm sorry to hear that some of you are still having trouble progressing in "A Brewing Storm" after waking up following the release of TU 1.5.0.

    If you have been unable to progress in this quest after the release of TU 1.5.0, can you please provide us with a video which shows the following:

    • You have the latest Title Update installed on this platform. You can check this in the bottom right-hand corner of the main game menu.
    • Your active quest log, showing that "A Brewing Storm" is your active quest.
    • That you are unable to progress to the fight with Dag after waking up.


    I'd recommend uploading this video to a sharing platform, such as YouTube or Google Drive, as this will allow you to post a shareable link within this thread we can take a closer look at. Additionally, please can you ensure that you have an up-to-date copy of your save file uploaded to the Cloud? You can check this by looking for a cloud icon on your most recent save file.

    @ArtDalla02 - Thank you for providing us with an up-to-date video! I'm sorry to hear you're still unable to progress in this quest. I've forwarded your report to the dedicated teams so they can take a closer look at this. I have also reopened the investigation into this quest, and change the title of the Megathread to reflect this.

    @Mr-Worldwide999 - Would you be able to provide us with a video that shows you're unable to progress in this quest as well? We can then pass this along to the dedicated teams as part of the reopened investigation.

    Hi, is there any news about the mission? I'm having problems since the end of January, two updates have been released and both didn't solve this problem!
    I don't know if this is a problem in the game or in my version, but I noticed other problems:

    • The missions of Yule Festival are still appearing for me on the missions bar, but when I try to complete any of them, it doesn't work;
    • Dag seems to be spawning far from the main house of Ravensthorpe, different of what was saying at the list of changes of the 1.5.0 update;


    Please help me to solve this problem, I've been playing the game for more than 120 hours but now I'm totally stuck.
    I'll keep waiting for your official response.

    You mentioned in your earlier post that the missions of the Yule Festival are still appearing for you. Is your Settlement also still decorated for Yule too? If so, can you please let us know the following:

    • Can you please confirm if TU 1.5.0.1 has been installed on your platform? You can check this by looking at the bottom right-hand corner of the main game menu.
    • Do you play the game online or offline? If you play the game offline, can you please try connecting to the internet to see if this will cause the Festival to end in your game.

    So... I did completed the brewing storm quest, I killed dag all was good, but couldn't proceed with the main story, as I didn't have any new quests. Did I miss something or is it a bug?

    @gkotzas Hey there, I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue with the "A Brewing Storm" quest. Are you able to interact with any of the NPCs/quest givers after killing Dag?

    @ubi-borealis I can confirm that the TU 1.5.0.1 version has been installed, but nothing seems to have changed, and I always play my game online, so it is always updated.
    As for the festival, the Settlement doesn't have the decoration anymore, it only shows the missions of Yule Festival on the mission bar and the NPCs of the missions are still present in the Settlement, on their location, but if I want to begin any of the quests, the game stops working.

    For example, in the Yule mission of bow and arrow, the game of shooting starts, but there isn't any aim to shoot, so it continues forever. In the fight mission, I can talk with the NPC girl, but the fight does not begin, and I return to the Settlement as nothing have happened.

    Thanks for providing me with some more information about the Yule festivities taking place in your Settlement, @ArtDalla02. This is definitely some odd behaviour.

    Would you be able to provide a video that shows you still have access to the Yule Festival quests, and that you can interact with the NPCs to begin the activities? I understand that you're not able to proceed with these once you've spoken to the NPCs, so don't worry about showing you can take part in these. It would just be useful to see what aspects of the Yule Festival are still available in your game.

    I'd recommend uploading the video to a sharing platform, such as YouTube or Google Drive, as this will allow you to post a shareable link within this thread. We can then pass this video along to the dedicated teams to see if this behaviour could be linked to "A Brewing Storm," or if this is a different issue require a separate investigation.

    @ubi-borealis I've recorded my screen showing the current update as well as the yule missions and NPCs that still are in my Settlement. In the end, I show the start of the brewing storm quest, and the Settlement while the bug occurs. In the video Dag hasn't showed up, but in a previous video that i sent here, I battled with him, so I will resend the link too for analysis:

    Thanks for providing those videos for me, @ArtDalla02. I've passed these along to the dedicated teams to see if this is a result of the issues you've also encountered as part of "A Brewing Storm," or whether this could be a different issue requiring a separate issue.

    If we require any additional information from you, we'll reach out within this thread. If the dedicated teams get back in touch to confirm that the issues are linked or separate, then I will do my best to notify you here as soon as I'm able to as well.

    In the meantime, any future updates regarding "A Brewing Storm" will be posted within this thread, and any future updates for Assassin's Creed Valhalla will also be made available in the News & Announcements forum.     Hi @artdalla02 the development team have asked if you have altered your PC clock to match the time period in which the Yule festival was active on live?

    @ubi-keo I haven't. My PC time is configurated to show the real time automatically, so I don't believe this is the problem...

    We don't yet have a confirmed ETA for when this fix will be released for the game. I'd recommend keeping an eye out within the News & Announcements forum for future updates, as any fixes will be included in patch notes published here.

    Hello there!

    A fix for "A Brewing Storm" is due to be deployed in TU 1.5.2, which will be released May 24th 2022. You can read the patch notes for this update here!

    The duel with Dag does not trigger after sleeping to enter the quest A Brewing Storm.


    If you are still having trouble progressing in "A Brewing Storm" following the release of TU 1.5.2, please don't hesitate to share an update within this thread. When providing a report, please include a video which shows the following:

    • You have the latest Title Update installed on your platform. You can check this in the bottom right-hand corner of the main game menu.
    • You are still unable to progress in "A Brewing Storm."

    As this issue has been resolved with a previous update and we have received no further reports we will now lock this thread.

    If you experience the issue again where you are unable to progress in the quest 'A Brewing Storm' after waking up then please create a new post and we will look into this further.
