    Hi,
Like alot of us was so looking forward to the new Settlers game but after playing the BETA i decided to cancel my pre order game as im so very disappointed with it.
Contacting the support is painful, and long story short as its a pre order apparently i can have a refund, however a week later its apparently STILL under investigation????

Why?...The game doesnt come out for another 2 months! Im chasing and chasing but getting nowhere!

Plain and simply i bought the game in good fait! I decided that the game is RUBBISH after playing the BETA as its NOTHING like the settles games ive played over the years and thats ALL of them, and you should honour the refund which you SAID you would in a support chat!!!!!

    HELP!

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@molsonman As they always say, never pre-order a game

@molsonman The game is not what could be expected from official information, therefore you can clam warranty (in most countries, which is defined by the law).

    For Germany: BGB §434(2)2. https://www.gesetze-im-internet.de/bgb/__434.html: (https://gesetze-im-internet.de/bgb/__434.html)
    For Austria: ABGB § 922.(2) https://www.jusline.at/gesetz/abgb/paragraf/922: (https://jusline.at/gesetz/abgb/paragraf/922)

I just logged on to my Ubisoft store account, since I could no longer see my preordered copy of The Settlers listed in Connect, and it turns out it's being processed for refund - how come? Is it because of the new delay?

@veovis77 They are obligated by law to return any pre-order game sales if there is a delay without a new date for realease.

@veovis77 When did you preorder the game? This year?

    Hi,

There was an issue with the pre-orders from 2020 and the Ubisoft Store tema fixed this issue, it could be related to this. The best place to check is with our customer support teams as they have more insight then the forum team. https://support.ubi.com

    Thanks,

@molsonman Did you get your money back? I also bought that game as pre-order and I'm going to get my money also back to me. Any hints how to proceed?

    Thank you.
