Hi, the same just started happening to me. It was fine just a day ago and suddenly the game just launches to a white screen.

Ok so I just cleaned up my current GPU Drivers and Re Installed them using DDU and now the game works again. Hope this works for everyone else having the same problem.

@fecsmith I also can't see cache at all. even after a search for it. where exactly is this file? Thank you!

@fecsmith Thank you, that fixed the white screen.

More info for anyone who find this forum later: PC, Ubisoft Launcher, AC Valhalla 1.4.2: After updating the latest Geforce Game Ready Driver version 511.65, AC Valhalla launched with white screen. Fix this by delete cache folder. (Not Ubisoft related)The new version also causes in-game overlay not working in any games screen as well.

Same here, all of sudden too as I've been playing the game for a couple of week without issues.

@mathiidemon I've spent the entire morning verifying files, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, epic launcher, and ubisoft connect. After 5 hours of trial and error I was unable to succeed. I'm glad there are others experiencing this issue, but unfortunately from all the tests I've conducted the game doesn't want to be fixed.

I played yesterday with no problem. Today I try to play, and I have the same problem as other people white screen on startup. I tried to repair the game but without success. I was suggested to uninstall and reinstall. You should know that the download takes almost 12 hours.

@joalby uninstalling doesn't fix anything. neither does verifying files

I have the same problem. But i have black screen. Sounds play but i dont see menu. Fixing dosnt work.

Removing/Renaming the "cache" folder in %userprofile%\Documents\Assassin's Creed Valhalla solves it

@gahjusss Delete contents of "C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\Assassin's Creed Valhalla\cache" and try again. Fixed white screen problem here.

I have the same problem. It seems that the latest NVIDIA Driver 511.65 doesn't work with the latest Update of AC. I uninstalled the driver and installed the previous Version 511.23 and the game is working again. No more white screen with only sound.

Same here, worked completely fine yesterday but not today. Tried to verified the game files but no success.
