    game keeps crashing after the update.
    Playing an hour, already crashed twice .. no error message.

    Once it was during a quest and cutscene. Second time following an npc during a quest (different one, different location)

    @archsh3riff Same here. Played several hours on February 21st prior to the new update with no problems. New update and my game is continually crashing. Playing on PC Win 10. My game use to crash once and a while before but not like it has with this new update. My god Ubisoft can you people do anything right. Two minutes in the game first time crash just getting on my horse. Reload game maybe 5 minutes in game riding down a road crash. Reload game not even a minute crash. It is not Windows 10, it is not my Direct X, it is not my video card. The problem is with your game.

    @archsh3riff I can not even open the game, it open as always happend but after the load screen game closing. I tried to verify my files many times and checked for driver version but looks like game crashed after the update. I guess we have to wait for their fix to new update. I guess Ubisoft does not have any tester.

    @ghanoglu I verified my game files. It stated several were corrupted so I did a repair. Went back and played the game for about 40 minutes with no crashing. Don't know if that fixed the problem or not. Will have to wait and see. Are you playing on PC? I take it you tried to verify your game files via UBISOFT Connect?

    Had a crash issue with the 1,4 update, after removing OC it got a bit better. The only game I have ever had to do that with, by the way.
    Now; new update, no OC, updated drivers and "to my surprise" it starts crashing again.
    I'm not even gonna botter looking for a new sollution this time, but I've identified the problem and it is Ubisoft.
    Your games broken and it's getting worse with each update.

    @archsh3riff Hey there. Sorry to hear about the recent crashes after TU 1.5.0. Please let me know if you have seen any improvements since the install. I also recommend the workaround mentioned by @ChuckKatse to verify game files. In addition, our PC Troubleshooting Guide has comprehensive steps to resolve issues like these.

    @Avalon_Kane @GHanoglu are either of you noticing error codes or messages before a crash occurs? Please let me know if you have exhausted the troubleshooting steps in the guide above as well.

    @ubi_plush Latest crash was when I went in to the inventory. Before that it was when fast travelling and the time before it was while fighting in an encampment. There are no error codes or messages, the game just freezes for a couple of seconds and then I get to send yet another bug report to Ubisoft, which I have done, without exaggerating, about a hundred times since installing this game a couple of months ago.
    Last update it got better after updating the drivers, but still crashed after a couple of hours. Now, at most, I can play for about one hour, sometimes a lot less. None of the suggestions from the troubleshooting steps have worked, but I have not yet tried to verify my game files as that will take more time than I have at the moment. I will try that this weekend unless a patch comes out to fix this before that. (he said with a smirk ...)

    Edit: I tried verifying the game files (and the other steps) with the previous two updates and that did not help then, although a couple of files were said to be corrupted and redownloaded.

    Edit 2: Tried verifying files. Still crashing. I played for about 45min. this time and I did'nt get the "send crash report", it just started syncing save files.
    I think Layla should count herself lucky Ubisoft did not build the Animus ...

    @avalon_kane I'm sorry to hear that this has not improved after completing the recommended steps. I understand this has been a very frustrating experience.

    @archsh3riff I think I finally solved my problem. I went offline before starting the game and pressed skip when the warning messages from Ubisoft came about this.
    Today I played for three hours straight like this after having three crashes in under an hour while online. After I played I got the could'nt sync message, so I reconnected to the internet and pressed "try again" to sync the saves.
    This may be coincedence so I'll leave an update after a couple of more sessions.

    @avalon_kane I have now played three sessions for a total of about seven hours and have had no crashes. I even OC'ed my GPU again and it's still stable.
    Whatever is wrong it's probable that it has something to do with Ubisoft Connect and it's online mode. I don't use the overlay and have turned off all notifications in game.
