For the third time in a few weeks the Collapse DLC has crashed after giving a "Can't sync with servers" error. I had every weapon at top level, full temp powers at least level 2 including 2 "1 ups" and half the locations completed. All gone.

The main game itself was just OK, nothing special. I'm probably one of the few that preferred FC5. I don't care enough about either the DLC nor the FC6 main game to play through either again nor am I interested in a fix or root cause for this crash. Just going to uninstall and hope FC7 (if there ever is one) is a return to form.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@frenchmustard61 That is the unfortunate downside to the game style they chose.... that death wipes progress and those heart powers, they didn't seem to take into consideration the possibility for game crash.

That said, it hasn't crashed once on me. So I don't view it as an unstable game. Still, the inability to save and for the game to recover from its own crashes would have been the right way to architect the game.

I have to agree with the other posts, this has got to be the most boring and worst of all the FarCry series. Have played for 27hrs and after all the hype of the pre-game releases...what a let down.

Not realistic in any form...a tank shoots at you or a rocket launcher, machine-gun, helicopter and well you get my point, too much fantasy!!!!!

I love FarCry New Dawn, a great game, everything just flows together and so easy to move around and access all the different options....had hoped FarCry 6 would have been simular but, not a chance!!

FarCry 6 is an arcade game play at the max!

@yotortugarp The developers were super chatty about the game before release. But as soon as the game launched they all ran away and hid without answering a single question about why Far Cry 6 is the worst Far Cry game ever released or why--prior to the game's release--they were not honest about the terrible design choices they made for it.

Remember this lesson when Ubisoft tries to get you excited for the next "Far Cry" game.

FC6 is best described as a Just Cause 4 expansion. You are Rico's cousin sent to Yara. Thats it.

If you treat it like the Just Cause game that it is then you'll enjoy it. If you treat it as a FC game you will cry.

I've lost all hope. FC7 will probably have a companion combat goat, a parrot that fires missiles and an armored buffalo that you can ride (with machine guns mounted on the horns). And of course x-ray vision, in-game wallhack, x-ray enemy outlines, super power HUD showing you where everything is to remove all challenge and excitement.
