Hi! Today I'm just downloaded the game and tried to run it. The game is actually stuck at the splash screen and not doing anything. I did a long research and tried many options included the linkshell extension thing. My game is installed on my D drive and the operating system is on the C drive... The thing is that i can't install the game on the C drive because its only 128gb and i have like 10 gb free space. Can anyone help me or know any solution, because its really frustrating that I cannot play a game that i bought.
My pc specs: Lenovo Legion y540 laptop
    I5-9300H
    GTX 1650
    16GB Ram

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@mezpet99 I heard that AC Valhalla just needs to be on the same drive that Ubisoft/Uplay is installed on, which doesn't necessarily have to be the main OS drive.

    So mine is:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Assassin's Creed Valhalla

You could try installing Ubisoft Game Launcher on your D drive, then moving your existing 'Assassin's Creed Valhalla' folder from wherever it currently is on your D drive, to the newly-created 'games' folder within the new Ubisoft folder on your D drive, that might work.

Hi @mezpet99 I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues launching Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

We do recommend installing the game on the same drive that the Ubisoft Connect launcher is installed on. As TheBrownridge mentioned in their post, you could try uninstalling then reinstalling the Ubisoft Connect launcher on the D drive.

However, before you try that could you take a look at the PC troubleshooting article and run through all the steps listed then try again. The support article contains some of the most common fixes for crashes, freezing, FPS drops and more.

Please confirm if this resolves the issue.
