    Hi,

I think this new daily is designed to select a random Jotun or Muspel in the world for you to assassinate, but one issue I ran into was when I started the daily it wanted me to assassinate the NPC found in my screenshot and she is part of a quest. I wasn't able to assassinate her anyway, not that I would have! I restarted the game, started the daily again and it gave me a new no-name NPC target at a raid location. I was able to complete the quest, however, the issue I mentioned would still need fixing.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

I encountered this bug again today but with a different Reda daily. I took another screenshot.

So just to be clear, if this NPC is ever a target for the daily quest, it will be impossible to complete it because she is a story NPC.

During some of the daily quests in svartalfheim it tells you to kill the jotun girl in the jordeygr shelter. She's obviously unkillable, and it would be an extremely odd way to end the romeo and juliet relationship. Have anyone else experienced this? Is there any way to fix it?

@wildhunt Hey! Thank you for reporting this bug with the daily contracts NPC.

Thank you also for the images, this is most useful.

Do you know the exact name of the quest that she is part of?

@ubi-viral I can't recall what the quest is called but I can describe what happens in the quest and your devs should be able to identify it. The quest starts at the Jordeygr Shelter, you meet a Jotun outside (she is the one in the screenshot) and she wants to get inside the shelter. She then changes into a wolf and you escort her inside, once inside a pack of wolves attack the shelter. When you kill the wolves, the quest ends with her being welcomed there by the dwarves.

Hi @tambey64 I have merged your post with this thread as this issue has already been reported.

The other player that reported the issue explained that they restarted the game and started the daily quest again and it gave them another target to kill in another location.
