Unsolved Upgrading to max power is too time consuming0 Likes/10 Replies/348 ViewsOriginal poster Icarus_97 1 posts
So I've played AC Valhalla for almost 140hrs+
I completed story and every regions of the all maps are 100% (including Norway, England, Vinland, Skye, Asgard, Jotnheim). I completed everything in this game and yet i can't reach power level 535 (which is max). i'm stuck at 523 and Reda quests don't give much XP. Those Items at shops aren't always available too. And I don't want to buy any DLC or XP Boost.
So what can I do to reach Level 535 in base game? I've literally completed everything (Wealths, Mysteries, Collectibles, Treasure Maps, Raids, Missions ,etc).

Hi @icarus_97 apologies for the late response.
I am also sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues reaching power level 535.
Whilst the power level can still be increased by killing enemies, completing Reda contracts and completing River Raids, we understand that it would take a long time to reach the maximum level without any additional quests to complete or wealth to collect from the expansions.
We have already forwarded this feedback on to the development team and they are looking into it.
Apologies for the inconvenience caused.
Buy knowledge scrolls from the merchants. I don't remember if I bought any for skill points but if they're available they should give two skill points. They restock every hour or something. Think I only bought them for mastery points but believe you should get skill points for them.
Farming XP . . . assassinate high-level baddies. These are the ones with stun bars as well as health bars. Sneak around Hampshire, hide, whistle while hiding and assassinate or corner-assassinate. Repeat. The gates of Winchester are pretty good, you can hide and corner-assassinate the two Standard-Bearers one after the other, move to the next gate.
You don't get an XP bonus for a headshot but that's a quick method of killing baddies where you can stay out of sight easily. Do a headshot build with a predator bow and appropriate armour and runes. Turn the combat difficulty down. Again, ignore the low-level baddies, take out the ones with stun bars. Run away if you can't be bothered to fight.
Poison Abilities might be worth a go, I don't remember if you get XP for those kills but if so you can kill lots of baddies quickly. Hampshire again, the fort at Uffington has lots of baddies that are grouped together.
Hope that might be of some help.

they should give two skill points
Oh, yeah, back to assassinations - Gloucester is really good. There are quite a lot of guards both there and passing through, including the higher-level ones, and almost the whole place is friendly. So you can assassinate the whole lot (hidden-blade the higher-level one one and axe-throw the lower-level one). There's just one spot where a larger fight is quite likely but even that can be done one-assassination-at-a-time. There are also lots and lots of loot things if you are interested.
oh, just read elsewhere - river raids maybe?
