    Oil springs appear as invisible.
Building oil wells on them results in the first 2 built being also invisible and NOT recognized by the fuel station (so it says it has only 1/3).
This does not happen on 100% of scenario restarts, just often.
(Re-loading the game does not help, re-starting the scenario may yield a non-bugged game-play)

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hello, @hundreAd180! I am sorry to hear that the oil springs are showing as invisible. To start, please try verifying your game files along with running Ubisoft Connect as administrator to test if that makes any improvements for you.

If it does not, please also try to uninstall and then reinstall Anno to test if that helps the oil springs show again.

If after all these steps the issue remains, please let me know here to pass this onto the team for investigation!

Im playing with all dlc and without mods the silver scenario, the oil springs on the small island are invisible. Oil wells can be placed on them but get destroyed after a few seconds. I think they used to be visible when i first started but disappeared after loading the savefile up. I would also like to upload my savefile itself but unfortunately im missing privileges to do so.

***Just double checked and of course i missed the post that reported the same issue earlier. I did the suggested steps but the issue is persistent.***

    @ubisushivamp
    To reproduce:

    1. Start new scenario, no bug.
    2. Immediately save.
    3. Immediately load, bugged.

Once bugged, I did not manage to UN-bug this (re-load, quit game then re-load did not help)

    EDIT:
it's even worse: re-started a new scenario, everything seemingly UN-bugged; WITHOUT loading, built a fuel station -- the visible oil springs immediately turn invisible, it LOOKS like the oil well can be built, but upon placing the mouse on another oil spring afterwards the "built" well disappears (see video: https://www11.zippyshare.com/v/xG9hv6kz/file.html: (https://www11.zippyshare.com/v/xG9hv6kz/file.html))

... so basically a third of the potential fuel in the scenario is unavailable (can have 1 working well).

I got exactly the same issue as descriped above with oil fields. They are there at the start of the game, after saving and loading two of the fields and invisible. If I try to build on one of them, oil rig on visible field immediately gets destroyed.

Also, I managed to get all the deliveries on time and somehow I only got bronze victory type.

    Hello,

There seems to be a bug with regards to the Oil Spring on an adjacent Island within the scenario.

Attached an image where the Oil Spring is there but is also not. I can build on all 3 but for some reason it demolishes the previous one. So at most, I can only use 1/3 of the Oil Springs.
