    Hey Anno Community,

This Tuesday we kicked off Season 4 with its first DLC, Seeds of Change, and the new scenario, Seasons of Silver.

We’re happy to see so many of you are already enjoying the new opportunities the DLC provides as well as the challenges of the scenario. We’ve also seen a lot of beautiful screenshots of planned-out Haciendas! Keep sharing them! 🙂

At the same time, we have also received feedback regarding some specific aspects of the DLC, for example about the Hacienda, the radius, the new residences, policies and the fertiliser production cycle.

While for several of them we decided to first keep an eye on how you are using and optimising the new features before doing any quick actions, we are also investigating potential changes and their impact.

Alongside this feedback we also received some bug reports for the new content and the scenario - most of them have been added to the Known Issues List already and we’re also investigating several other problems, e.g. reports about missing Bonus Ornaments and wrongly unlocked achievements.

Worth noting: We have seen reports about buildings (e.g. fisheries and marketplaces) vanishing after the update. Please be aware that we have so far been able to trace all reports back to the usage of mods/corrupted game files. Please make sure to deactivate or remove all mods, verify your game files and load a savegame from before the update was released. Some of the mods have already released updates, so please keep an eye on their respective channels.

We will keep you updated on these topics and our plans regarding the next Game Update.

For now, we wish you happy Easter holidays and will be back on Tuesday.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
