    Hi, just started playing Dawn of Ragnarok expansion today and I have encountered this weird bug.

    Upon receiving the quest "Vault of the Ancients", I was asked to talk to Ivaldi, upon talking to him, the cutscene triggers normally, however, I am unable to progress past that (where Glod appears and his boss fight starts).

    After talking to Ivaldi, Odin says "Wait", the game freezes with Odin unable to move, consequently making the quest impossible to finish.

    Any fix on this? Am on PC, 1.5.1 update. Verified game files and even redownloaded the expansion to no avail.

    Hi Vikings!

    I am currently doing a routine check-up on the megathreads and I can confirm that the issue where players were unable to progress after talking to Ivaldi in the quest 'Vault of the Ancients' was resolved in Title Update 1.6.0.

    As we have received no reports of this issue since June we will now lock this thread.

    I have the exact same bug. After Havi says 'Wait' to Ivaldi, Ivaldi stands there for 15 seconds and then I'm unable to control Havi...

    @ubi-theberry i have the exact same problem, right after Odin says wait, Ivaldi stands there for like 15 sec and then i cant control odin again. nothing, just a hard reset.

    @ubi-theberry Same here. Havi says, "wait" and it waits for several seconds then switches to Havi in an uncontrollable stance looking back toward the town. NO hotkeys or buttons work except eating rations. I can activate Power of Muspelheim but it doesn't tick down. It's just a dead end.

    I seem to have ran into a bug while playing the DLC Dawn Of Ragnarök, while doing the story mission The Vault Of The Ancients and I have to speak to Ivaldi inside the shelter I speak to him and we end up out side talking but when Ivaldi askes "what would you have me do, you hear a wooden box breaking like sound and then reply "wait" to Ivaldi with him saying "what" as you go to investigate, the loading icon appears then changes to my character just standing there unable to move but there is still motion and sound so the game hasn't crashed I'm just unable to move and can't continue with the story, I can't seem to find a solution that will fix this problem I've even loaded up a different save, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game yet the problem of being unable to move continues, is there any way to fix this issue, as I don't want to have waisted money on a DLC just so I can't play it threw because of a bug in the DLC, I have reached out to other AC Valhalla players in Facebook fan group pages and none of them have come across this bug can anybody help me?

    I've just ran into this problem my self, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, that didn't work, I woke back up and entered the vision again, that didn't work, I loaded different saves, that didn't work, I can't seem to get passed that point because Odin just can't be move at all has there even been a fix to this problem yet?

    Same problem here. Havi seems to be stuck after he said "wait" and I cannot access skill / map or any other things. I tried to restart or reload from earlier quests but I always came up with the same situation.

    Came here to say, that I have exactly the same problem. The game doesn't give me controls over Havi after saying 'wait' to Ivaldi.

    !!!!!!!!!FIX FOUND!!!!!!!!!

    All I did was change some graphic settings, the game says it will reset if you change these settings I said yes, the game reset then I manually loaded the latest save instead of hitting continue and I was able to continue with the quest... Also I just kept hitting the skip button ( space bar ) threw the hole Havi speaking with Ivaldi scene! I really hope this helps other players with the same problem.

    This is happening to me as well... 😞

    Really looking forward to a bug fix here - will try the graphic settings reset to see if there is any luck to be found there...

    @arranetic I followed your suggestions and it did worked! I just changed graphics to "low" and then manually reload the most recent save. Thank you. You saved my day... 🙂

    @gamaspin just change your graphics to low allow the game to reset when you apply the changes then, start the game back up and manually load your recent save.
