Loot Management API1 Likes/2 Replies/161 ViewsOriginal poster KILLA_KARIZMA 2 posts
I am a fairly new/returning player on The Division 2 and was wondering if there any information on an API/third party app for the item/loot management system? I've always had an appreciation for this game mainly because of the incredible synergy between the various builds, the efficiency of the crafting/recalibration systems, and the target looting mechanics. The only downfall is trying to manage the loot itself. Similar to The Division franchise, Destiny is also a looter/shooter game, and is one that I have put tons of hours into. The builds aren't as versatile as The Division. The weapons/armor systems are okay. Loot system is alright. And until recently, crafting was non existent in Destiny 2. Even now the crafting is far from anything to write home about...not if you compare it to this game. One of the main reasons so many players including myself gravitated towards Destiny was because of the fact that they had 3rd party apps for loot management. These API's overwhelmingly helped players to not only streamline managing their loot, but the process of building loadouts is so much more efficient, showing every stat for a character, every piece of armor, weapon, perks, skills, etc...down to the decimal point. This made playing Destiny worth it, even with all of it's sub par loot systems. Someone dumping hundreds of hours into a looter/shooter game will no doubt accumulate and collect tons of loot. Like all the veterans in this game have recommended, I've made several characters just to store some of my gear, and logging in back and forth between various characters just to see if I have a mod. I don't know, maybe Destiny has spoiled me with the ease of use 3rd party item manager apps, but it's 2022, and it is just feels like a deterrent and a turn off when we can't effectively manage our inventories.
