Not sure if I'm the only one having this issue but I just got the new update and Eivor has turned invisible. I also have a short video of me getting the viewpoint while invisible but the forums wont let me post that. Hilarious and doesn't affect anything else, but hard to tell what I'm doing when trying to climb.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hello, and thank you for contacting us with this image! I have moved this thread to our Player Support section so that one of our agents can investigate with you. For the video that you mentioned, could you post it to YouTube as unlisted and then provide the link here?

I had an invisible Eivor the first time I did anything in Ostara this year. She started to reappear after a while, reloading didn't do it directly, she was flickering. Some items were visible the whole time, maybe the weapons, can't remember. I had finished what I was doing so closed the game and I haven't seen the problem since.

Hello @AtropaShade thanks for getting in touch with us.

Can you confirm the platform this occurs on, are you playing on an Xbox One?

What kind of actions do you perform that can make Eivor go invisible? Does it only affect climbing for you?

How often has this issue occurred for you after the last update?

Any other information on where this occurs and how often, would be great to know for further investigation thanks!

Yes, im playing on Xbox 1s. It's only happened a couple times and doesn't affect anything other than items and Eivor. Climbing was the same. I was climbing the tower that changes seasons each time it happened. Usually started with Eivor flickering after going from spring to winter and vice versa.

@ubikobold I'm not really sure how to use YouTube or post but I'll see if my fiancé can help me with it when he gets home from work.

@atropashade if you're on Xbox, do a clip, you can then do a link to gamerdvr.com (this is what I do, they seem okay with that) - YouTube has the benefit of the video getting embedded in a post but it's not needed

Hey @spirantcrayon22 , thanks for sharing your insights there!

Thanks for looking into this for us, @AtropaShade - I see that Microsoft has a guide describing how best to share clips, at this link. It'd also be useful to know if there were specific actions or activities which seemed to cause Eivor to go invisible, or if you recall what you were doing when they went invisible - that'd really help us out 🙂 Thanks again for your help, and let me know if I can clarify this!
