If this isn't a new thing, forgive me, but that's my first time seeing such a project. Great idea.

I always keep the trinkets i find because i like being able to help those NPCs i find randomly around the map, but you still always wind up having way more than you could ever use. Having a project where you can donate some of them is great!

Something to note, the project in question just asked for 1 of each, which doesn't sound too odd, until you realize that one of the donations was simply 1 kids shoe LOL

Are we talking about a kid with 1 foot here? All the kids you see running around the campus has both feet. Maybe they already had that 1 shoe and just needed 1 more? If true, i just hope the shoe was a match. Surely no one wants to their kid running around with 1 Adidas and 1 Nike shoe? (That's probably going to become a fashion at some point LOL)

Who knows, but maybe make it make sense please? 2 shoes, 2 socks.

Anyway, who ever came up with that idea, thank you!

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@arnudswazaneger it's ok as a one-off story project, it's not good as a weekly project.

There are a myriad of trinkets, some common some rare, and you could end up not being able to finish a project because the RNG has not been gracious in granting the trinket required for the project.

That idea comes from the game itself, since it was in the game at launch, but was removed. That's why the trinkets exist in game to begin with (mainly that; you still can find random allied mobs asking for stuff). Peeps spent countless hours opening file cabinets looking for hammers (I think it was hammers, or was it screwdrivers?). Players didn't appreciate it.

    Ah, good catch. You're right.

Perhaps throw every 2 weeks or once a month? That should be a reasonable amount of time for agents to have done enough lootin.

The projects could be themed too like, kids stuff (the shoes and jackets for ex), School stuff (paper, pencils, pens, rulers), worskhop stuff (tools and measuring tape of course).
