As we all know, Ubisoft is testing the nerf for all LMG's in the test servers rn, this includes removal of high zoomed scopes and increased recoil patterns. However, I do not believe that every LMG is in need of a nerf due to different variables, the operators pick and win rates, and the weapon stats themselves. With this being said the G8A1 and the DP-27 do not need any of the nerfs that are being tested on the test servers due to the fact that both IQ and Amaru have low pick rates with average win/performance rates and Tachanka having a low pick rate with a slightly above average win/performance rate, and due to the weapons being the worst LMG statistically, they are statistically equivalent to the statistics of an AR. And I have done the math and everything that I stated checks out. Here are the results:

    undefined

And if you want to verify my math, utilize this equation: Damage × Ammo Capacity ÷ Rate Of Fire = Weapon Statistical Value

As you can see, the G8A1 performs like an AR but has the the worst statistical Value amongst all LMG's, and the DP-27 performing like the the MK17 CQB but with a slower rate of fire and more punch. These two guns are out classed in every way when compared to other LMG's but fair equally to the statistics of AR's and SMG's due to their low statistical value, and sure your can make the argument that Amaru's place in the win delta charts is like that because most players don't know how to use Amaru properly, but you can't ignore the statistical value of the G8A1 being less than every other LMG I'm the game.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
