    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_XML_and_HTML_character_entity_references: (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_XML_and_HTML_character_entity_references) atleast in trackmania forums shows as 2 separate texts, not a clickable link.

    > shows as character ">"

    making posting code examples impossible...

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    @reaby
    Hello, I'm just doing a test about links :

    Copy / pasted from your post : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_XML_and_HTML_character_entity_references: (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_XML_and_HTML_character_entity_references)

    • same but added the "dot" : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_XML_and_HTML_character_entity_references: (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_XML_and_HTML_character_entity_references)

    Copy / pasted from the Wikipedia page : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_XML_and_HTML_character_entity_references: (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_XML_and_HTML_character_entity_references)

    • same but added "dot list" : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_XML_and_HTML_character_entity_references: (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_XML_and_HTML_character_entity_references)
    1. same but added "Numbered list" : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_XML_and_HTML_character_entity_references: (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_XML_and_HTML_character_entity_references)

    All previous tests done without opening the "link editor" that exist in the "posts editor"

    (Sorry, I'm not English fluent + not an web worker, so I may have made some mistakes)

    [Post-Edited] =
    None of them are working
    New test using the Forum link editor by adding the text in the link editor :
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_XML_and_HTML_character_entity_references: (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_XML_and_HTML_character_entity_references)

    New test by adding the link in the editor to this text :
    linked text test: (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_XML_and_HTML_character_entity_references)

    Testing main Wikipedia home page :
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page: (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page)

    Testing a Wikipedia SVG :
    https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e4/Social_Network_Diagram_%28segment%29.svg: (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e4/Social_Network_Diagram_(segment).svg)
    this don't work maybe just because it's a SVG, or because it's an Alpha layered SVG

    Testing a Wikipedia JPG : that works but I erased the JPG picture to avoid any copyrigh or licence conflict (link had the ".jpg" extention at the very end of it, as usual and as html standard)

    Clearly : while for all tests all links are shown correctly as valid links in the editor >> Result = only JPG images linked to Wikipedia are working 😞

    @azullfr yep.

    Also i wasn't able to edit my posting from 7mo ago. Would liked to update the map editor plugin for a posting, but that apparently not work as well.
    Atleast in trackmania forums we need to write time to time code examples... it's huge feature missing as we can't write properly <code> or <pre> blocks.
    Now that the links not work, it's kinda sadge that we can't reference even on external resources of game community wiki or community plugins direct from the forums.

    @reaby I'm also annoyed that links don't work. As-is now, they clutter posts that use them (i.e. https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/119929/far-cry-5-arcade-porting-maps-to-other-systems-using-mapswapper/61?page=4 ) , making the forum very unfriendly.
