I don’t know if this change had taken place previously, but I only started noticing it after TU 1.5.2, having started to do River Raids regularly again to upgrade the armory. Vagn seems to speak in a foreign tongue when you approach him, and his voice is actually different from his regular jovially-sounding “up for some raiding?” Anyone else notice this? Does anyone know what he’s saying?
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@thenorfolkian
I also noticed it, it reminded me about some people in the game but I'm not sure if it was bandits, or some people during the festival, but (nearly) sure I eard this language and voice somewhere else in the game
Vagn seems to do the same muttering that is used for male NPCs talking to themselves. Gunnar the blacksmith does that all the time.
I wonder if those ‘Access the Animus’ dudes can figure this out.
this would be nice
Maybe it is an Old Norse variant ?
(seems that the person who was in a Reda daily contract at Soham Hideout, when coming back to the place, seat down and can speak approximatively the same language)
Hey there @thenorfolkian , thanks very much for reporting this, and my apologies for the delay in responding. I understand Vagn seems to be muttering to himself in some manner of devil tongue since the patch, in contrast to the other NPCs, so I've gone ahead and reported that on to our teams.
Thanks everyone else for sharing your insights into this, too!
Let me know if there's any questions
