    Hello,
    Each time UC updates itself (that means "often"), then it asks me for my password...
    Where does it see I wanna do administrative tasks ??? Just wanna play.
    Please, correct. Store the password locally, I don't know but I'm fed up with this.

    Hi @spotvull I'm sorry to hear that you are being prompted to login to your account every time there is an update for Ubisoft Connect.

    Could you please try the following:


    Also make sure not to log out anymore as this will require you to login again. If the issue persists next time there is an update please let us know.

    @Ubi-Keo i did what you asked already and i have still the same issue and uplay asks to login after client updates itself. Updating makes it forget passwords which is totally unacceptable. Please fix this, ubisoft client is very infuriating.

    I can see our teams are investigating this internally. Can you answer the questions below for me, to help with this?

    • Do you use Steam together with Ubisoft Connect, or just Ubisoft Connect by itself?
    • Can you find your launcher log file for me? Here's our support article showing where it is. Let me know once you've located it, and I'll open a support ticket you can use to send me a copy of it.

    When I login in I tell Ubisoft Connect to remember me and that the device is trusted. Yet after a reboot I have to log back in or half way through a game session I get a pop-up saying I was logged off due to inactivity. I have tried launching the app as an Admin, removed trusted devices and set the trusted device again.

    Any ideas on how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated since it is annoying when I am trying to invite people to a group and they are not getting the invites until I close Rainbow Six Siege, log back into Ubisoft, and launch Rainbow Six Siege again.
