    • Currently skills and variant upgrades are account wide meaning that every character shares the same skill upgrade level.
    • Gear and weapons expertise upgrades are item bound as each gear and weapon item can have different attributes and talents making them unique.
    • Specialization weapons however are also item bound. I do not understand this decision. Why are they not account wide like skills since they are a commonly shared item? This means currently you need to upgrade every specialization weapon for each character.

The pictures show 2 different characters.

    • Skill upgrades are commonly shared
    • Specializations are not shared

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

I believe this is a bug and should be fixed, the same should apply to Exotic weapons, at the moment it seems ridiculous to upgrade any same signature weapon. Exotic weapons are a bit less of a problem because they can be transferred between characters and one weapon is enough, although it is very inconvenient

Will we get an answer on this? After all, upgrading a special weapon for each character is completely moronic.

@ixioras It's most likely going to stay like this. If they change things now then there will be players who would have already spent components and resources on other characters and I don't think Massive want to go through the hassle of giving people compensation again.
