Hi, I hope I'm not the only one with this:

I think that right after finishing the campaign 'Wrath of the Druids' (or in a mission before the end or looting a chest or something, I don't know), I got three runes (two of Armor -Strength and Shadow- and one of Weapon -Wrath-). The point is that I got rid of the three by selling them in the nearest store I had, and apparently everything was normal. When I returned to England to start the campaign "The Siege of Paris", all three runes respawned in my bag of items, and no matter if I sell them in any store I find again, they always reappear every time I make a fast travel to any watchtower or traveling to other territories - in my case England, Norway, Vinland, Ireland, or France that I'm playing right now.

Although I don't lose the gained silver from every selling after the runes respawn over and over again, this bug/glitch is starting to be very annoying and I would like it to be fixed, removed or whatever so it doesn't happen again and again. Thanks in advance.

Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@assassinguy86 Hello! Thank you for letting us know about this issue and apologies for the annoyance it's been causing. Would it be possible to please get us a video from your gameplay showing that you sell the runes and they appear again in your inventory? Please upload that video to YouTube or a similar website and share the link with us here. Getting a video helps us to report these issues to the dev team. Thank you!

@Ubi-Perseids Greetings! First of all my apologies for the very long delay on my part, I almost forgot that I posted this and the truth is that I didn't receive notification of a reply. I've only noticed it when I recently accessed the forums and noticed the tip-off. Again I'm so sorry.

Anyway, I'm attaching a video link as you've asked. In a few words, the process is basically to sell the runes in question that I described in the first post, then travel to any other territory in the game (also happens if there is a restart due to configuration changes) and then it pops notification of "new runes acquired", as seen in the HUD and inventory menu, being the same ones I'm trying to get rid of.

I hope this clarifies the situation, and thank you for your attention.

    hello,
just wanted to inform you that using some background colors using the Forum Dark Mode create some issues for Light Mode Users (the same issue can happen in the opposite case, I already documented with the CSS... still no change and no news from Ubisoft ... hint for the devs : On the web page > Right Click > Inspect > access to the related CSS rules ...) :

@AssassinGuy86 Thanks for the update, and no worries about the delayed reply. You can always reply to us at your own convenience. Thanks also for providing that video! I've gone ahead and reported up this situation and the video to our teams to take a look at. In the meantime, you can try verifying the game files in Ubisoft Connect to see if the situation resolves. Also, if you haven't yet tried, you can uninstall/reinstall the game as well. If you try this, be sure to ensure your game saves are backed up on the cloud. Thanks again for working with us on this, and let us know if we can be of further assistance.

@azullFR Thanks a bunch for reporting this to us! I've passed along your report of the dark mode text situation to our teams. Your time is much appreciated!

this is something that has occurred since day 1; owning the rune set from the ultimate preorder thing does this, it looks for runes in the inventory and adds them if they're not there whenever there's a change in the game such as Eivor's appearance, which map you're in, exiting and loading, and a few other times I've not really worked out yet

to avoid it, just don't sell the runes!

    I confirm,
same on PS4 pro, no new respawning runes since I stopped to sell them more than a year ago 🙂
