I know the dev team is probably not too worried about QoL/Balance changes at this moment on account of some of the complexities that come with it.
However, I would like to bring up a couple of changes that while simple, would have a lot of positive impact in different areas of the game.
1- Increase Hazard Protection from Keener's watch to 20%
This would really help builds that use HZP achieve the immunity thresholds. With how prominent Status are everywhere in the game in both PvE and PvP, this would be a good change for players.
Back when Bruce was working on the game, one of his projects that never came to fruition was doubling the value of Resistance Mods. This would achieve a similar effect but in a more general way.
2- Health Regeneration to be always active
One change from Warlords and Gear 2.0 was that Armor Regeneration became always active. Before that, Armor Regen required the player to stop taking damage before triggering. This is exactly how Health Regen still works.
This is one of the reasons that make the Firewall Armor Kit so popular: it's the only one that restores health so that you may continue fighting. If Health Regen was always active, players would have an additional layer of protection and more active pause when taking damage. Being that Health is irrelevant as an attribute despite being an actual representation of a player's ability to fight, this would be a great change.
3- Make Skill Mods Slot Agnostic
Just like when this also happened for Gear Mods, it would provide an extra layer of customization in the game.
