    100,000 river raids done already

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@spirantcrayon22 I’m not surprised... entering and exiting a river raid is pretty quick and exploitable for this challenge. A more interesting community challenge would be something like scoring 1,000,000 kills during a river raid. That will actually force players to play river raids.

@thenorfolkian yes, I'm a bit surprised it isn't kills, sites raided or supply chests looted

an Ultra-Mega-Ultimate-Complete Challenge would be : kill 1 000 000 fishes in River Raids ...
after all Eivor is still telling "Mhhh ! there is plenty of fishes in this river" ( when using the fishing line that is still usable in River Raids and inside some camps too ) 😂

    “Look at all those fishies!”

many thanks to you for giving me the correct sentence 👍
I'm gonna try to remember it
(I just added an "Eivor at work" there , it was during old River Raids 😉 )

River raids would be great fun if we could remove the downtime spent on travelling between the places to raid. It's just boring and a waste of time.

@teh_greg River raids would be great if your crew weren't so squishy requiring constant babysitting.

@azullfr Yeah, this was nice on at least some rivers to fill the baby food pouch - and they removed it out of spite. "We know better what makes the game fun."

@kormac67 the crew are really only there to help Eivor open chests after she's gone in alone to slaughter everyone

@kormac67 @SpirantCrayon22 @azullFR The ultimate babysitter is Vagn. If you think about it, you can imagine some kind of secret conversation between him and Eivor... something along the lines of...

“Okay, so even though I have no claim over these rivers, you need to do this my way. You can’t use your ship... you have to use mine... but you can decorate it any which way you want. Also, I have to come on every single trip even though I will do absolutely nothing. Oh, and by the way, you can’t use your raven where we’re going, or your horse... no reason, just because I said so. And no fishing. I hate fish. And no cutting through areas to get to the other side of a river bank quicker... you either travel the whole thing or you don’t. Oh, and I get 50 gold every time you want to go because I need money and don’t want to do anything to earn it.”
