    I know that there are nine Embers of Muspelheim in the new DLC, and that they are found on the Muspelheim Monoliths. However, after believing I had found all the embers, it turns out that I only have eight. To rectify this:

    • I have visited all nine monoliths (at least three times each) and check have checked the location where the ember is supposed to be collected (I have even pulsed Odin's sight to verify there are no treasures that are not immediately obvious);
    • I have checked the world map, but I see that each monolith has an X where the ember should be (and none have the gold "treasure" or "wealth" point);
    • I have completed every region (finding every wealth, artifact, and completing every mystery) and have finished the main story;
    • I have visited every blacksmith in Svartalfheim, including Skavi specifically, on multiple occasions hoping one offers to upgrade my Huger Rip, but no one offers to upgrade my Huger rip.

    After all of this, I'm still stuck at eight, with absolutely no idea what to do now. I have wasted HOURS trying to figure this out. Does anyone have a suggestion for what might be going on? Is there a glitch? I seem to be the only person to have this issue as I cannot find any other persons who has complained of the same issue. Any suggestions for what may be going on and how it can be rectified will be appreciated.

    Hi @jackturner3 I'm sorry to hear that you only have 8/9 Embers.

    Could you please provide a video that demonstrates this issue.

    In the video can you show the following:

    • You have completed every region on the map
    • Show the X's on the map for the 9 monoliths you have done
    • Your inventory to show that you only have 8/9 Embers
    • Visit the Blacksmith at a shelter to show you cannot upgrade the Hugr-Rip


    I would recommend uploading your video to a video sharing platform such as YouTube, you can then copy the URL link into this thread.
