So I'm not a hater by any stretch of the imagination. I own every single Assassin's Creed game going all the way back to the original. I own all the watchdog games. All of the far cry games. All of the Rainbow Six games, all the ghost recon games, all of the Splinter Cell games, and various other Ubisoft games like For Honer, Steep, Prince of Persia, Star Wars, Immortals Fenyx Rising and various other titles. No exaggeration whatsoever. I own every single one of those games and more. I've poured thousands upon thousands of hours and basically threw my money at your company. For whatever reason your games just click with me. Always have.

That said, how can the Devs walk away from this game without addressing the save game bug. I mean I was really loving this game before I lost all progress for the SECOND TIME! I bought the Gold edition with the season pass. That's $100 dollars for a game I basically can't play. How can you do this to your loyal fanbase? Seriously, how do you guys take our money like that and just... Move on without a fix?

I mean I get it. Gamers can be entitled little brats. You pour your heart and soul into a game only to be completely torn down when issues crop up. People flood websites like metacritic and review bomb you into oblivion. I've even read that some people email/contact you personally threatening you and your family. That's absolutely ridiculous and those people should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. However that does not represent all of us.

I'm fine with you throwing in the towel. I mean I love this game and I'm disappointed but I understand it's a business decision. The powers that be feel It's time to move on. No more updates or support. THAT SHOULD NOT INCLUDE THE SAVE GAME BUG THOUGH! That is such a basic feature of the game and renders the money that we all spent absolutely worthless.

I know this is probably falling on deaf ears. I'm most likely going to get the standard, "We're sorry you're having trouble," or the "Please explain in detail You're exact issue" post. This is a widespread issue and is the only game I'm having this kind of trouble with on my Xbox Series X.

You guys are better than this. You are my favorite developers by a country mile. I was asked recently by a friend if you could only pick one developer for the rest of your life and only play their games who would you pick. Without hesitation I said Ubisoft. I guess as the kids would say that makes me a Fanboy. Don't care.

Please reevaluate this decision to not fix the save game bug. Assign a couple of competent developers to work on letting us manually save on console. That would at least give us the ability to juggle our save files so that when something gets corrupted we can fall back on something we know is safe.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
