Why do you even implement the "blend with monks" game mechanic if you can't make it work the same way it did in AC 1? I literally wasted two hours of my time trying to get into a church guarded by enemies, using the monks to my advantage.

But it fails every single time because when you try to squeeze through a really narrow church door, the monks just start to disperse from the group and then it automatically breaks the blend and reveals your presence to enemies.

This was never a problem in AC 1 because your character automatically followed the monks and adapted to their movements.

But because in Valhalla you have to do this manually and the game seemingly breaks the blend way too easily, it is just impossible to get through narrow doorways by blending.

It's really sad that Ubisoft clearly meant these monks to be used but designed them in such a way that using them is practically useless most of the time.

Now I just wish the game would have some kind of invisibility cheat code so people wouldn't have to deal with the flawed social stealth.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hi @Crazybone992 apologies for the late response.

I am also sorry to hear that you have experienced issues when blending with the monks in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

I do understand that this game mechanic does not work as well as it did in previous Assassin's Creed games as you have to control Eivor manually where as in older games it would do it automatically.

I will forward your feedback on to the development team.

@Crazybone992 Yes, social stealth should get some attention in this game and not just totally ignored. Building on it, making some skills for it should work i think.

Skill 1 money throwing which is accessible from the quick wheel menu to round up people close by.

Skill 2 would make Eivor dissapeare from plain sight if she stands between 3 or more people.

Basic og game features can be implemented into this game already but dont know why they are not doing it.
