So ok, I don't want to make into a heated political debate, but I have to ask why Ubisoft is not being fair for not portraying another 2 similar groups: BLM and Antifa in game? Are you being too afraid to be right?

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@swornreaper, First off, just by making that first statement, you have already opened a can of worms, no matter how politely you are trying to be. So, I'll just throw in my two cents worth, as politely as possible as well. I'll answer your questions with counter questions, as that's one way how I roll.... 1) Are BLM and Antifa prominent in Great Britain? 2) Are minorities treated the same in Great Britain as they are in the USA? 3) Would you like to bring religion into this political debate, as it too forms part of the equation? What is better, Fascism or Anti-Fascism? What is better, Racism or Anti-Racism? What is better, love or hate? Is only one race or all races the children of God? What level of Nationalism do you support,... light, average or extreme? Cannot a person love both their Country and all races too?

What is considered to be right, wrong or somewhere in between, is in the eyes of the beholder and based on their upbringing and personal experiences. You are entitled to call things as you see them, but so is everyone else, even if it contradicts everything you believe in. Who is right and who is wrong, is a question that will be debated until the end of time. Good and bad people come from all races, cultures, religions or non religious beliefs, and in all shapes, forms and sizes.

@RobertEmerald Look, I disagree with you. First of all, I only brought this up, because I live in America, I know about America First policy from previous President. So I don't know if England actually had that slogan before America, or Ubisoft just tried to "mirror" and created it into part of story setting, and IF SO, then it should be fair if they at least include BLMs and Antifas in there too. So it wouldn't matter IF they are "prominent" in England or not (but I know that they do exist though), because at this point, everything is already fictional.

Second of all, I felt that Ubisoft made "nationalism" as a bad bunch, though they even tried to conspire that it was all about corruption, evil motive behind it. To be honest, it little disgusts me. Even though, it's England, but I would imagine if it were America. I love my country, that little fact already make me to be nationalist, and I believe that nationalism can be good. Of course, it can also be bad if we don't have moral principles.

Third of all, BLMs and Antifas are not like what you think that they are. That's my solid opinion, and I stopped it, because it will dive into a deeper, more unpleasant topic. Let's just say that I disagree with you about it.

Fourth of all, you mentioned about love and hate. In my opinion, today, I think that people have perverted the word "love". Love needs to be right, not wrong. Wrecking a havoc on a nation is not love. Like, we already had problem with homeless, and especially veterans. If we can't take care our own, how can we take care others? The worse part is that they did not even want to come in the right way, they would burden on our society, our culture, and certainly they likely will not want to assimilate into our American culture, especially we are already under an attack, we are having a war on culture already.

Thanks for your response regardless. Ubisoft forum is so empty.

@swornreaper, We will just agree, that we disagree. I have been a Christian Democratic Socialist my whole life and I will die as one as well, just like you are, who you are, and will die as one too. One thing that is a fact, is that there has never been one single human, that has decided where they will be born, nor have ever chosen their parents. Life is what we make of it, even though some humans have huge advantages, based on the Country where they are born and their parents financial status. With privileges, comes advantages. Oh and, my dad was a Libertarian Atheist and we were total 180 degree opposites, so sometimes, the fruit does fall far from the tree. I could say so much more and debate everything you just posted, but I won't, because, it would be a waste of time, as we would remain true to our beliefs, no matter what anyone else said. Life is short and should be enjoyed and cherished to the fullest. I'll give you the last word and then move on with life and gaming too. 😎 Have a great life!

The game is really setting players up to play the rebellious role, the revolutionaries who fight crime and corruption in the government and police. People may not have much power in real life, but in the game it's possible to fight back.

It doesn't depict reality in London, although the setting itself is realistic.
