    Hi,

    are there any rumors regarding new content for year 5, beside the most probable = seasons, apparel, specialisation revamp and perhaps a further mode? If this only it would be a next wasted year of content for me.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    @GnarlyAtol1793 If Yr5 is another copy/paste from previous years then I can certainly say I will not be playing it at all. No more Seasons like we have had for hte last couple of years. No more revamps of current areas with just more bullet-sponges and different spawn locations.

    The current Devs needs to eitehr release Yr5 with actual an expansion like they did with Warlords of NY and continue to add to it. They cannot say at the start of Yr5 that something like this is 'Coming in the next few months' and fail to deliver.

    I feel that, right now, they are just using this game as a simple cash-cow and milking the playerbase for wahtever they can make. The major fixes that needs to happen are not happening fast enough (Still getting 4 PC crashes per day if not more) yet silly little fixes or nerf's happen almost immediately without any delay.

    @SkyNet

    I have mixed feelings. I can’t complain. On one hand the game at release was already a complete game and the fans of the main game, like me, got free great additional missions (Pentagon, Camp White Oak, Zoo, Coney Island) and a great paid expansion WoNY.

    On the other hand a lot content has been added to the game I don’t play: Summit, Kenly, Countdown, Raids, global events (due to even more frippery gameplay), leagues, apparel events and some missions due to annoying boss fights (esp WoNY missions), new gear, new guns, new exotics, Expertise … all completely useless content for me which is a lot. Now …, it’s all free and there are probably a lot players out there who like all this (majority?). My only struggle is that this is mostly content which is something different than the main game which I bought and was hoping they would further develop when they announced to further develop the game. Division games are the games with the most content I don’t play … but also they games I play most.

    Sure, I would be happy to pay for a good expansion, will probably not come due to the small team they have but I am impressed about all the new content they developed with this team. But I was hoping that they would make further use of the great maps which are mostly filled with nonsense copy and paste tasks and huge parts not used at all, enriching the existing maps with good and interesting tasks. But they don’t touch the main game anymore, they focus on modes and repetition incentives. They did the same in Division 1. I am not aware of other games with such procedure. Sometimes I wonder for what purpose the open world maps have been developed.

    Well, perhaps Heartland will be interesting.

    I dont expect larger and bigger expansions with the current extra small developtment team that is struggling to keep up and are still learning hence why new content are the new game modes (so any errors are isolated to that game mode) and new exotic weapons are using current weapons we already have instead of brand new ones (Kingbreaker and Daze are still buggy with some attachments and cosmedics). But sure i'll take another year of content being season based with the occasional twist here and there for free over having nothing, and no people you cant scream that somehow a paid = good, rushed content will be bad no matter if free or paid, summit being sloopy work is proof that is the biggest factor of quality

    I don’t care about Summit but technically Summit works like a clock. Therefore I don’t feel it’s a sloppy work. It’s ugly and boring looking yes, but for run and gun it does not matter, like in Countdown.

    @GnarlyAtol1793 Guess you dont remember on the release of how bad things were, it got reworked and had some extra elbow grease to make it how it is now because it was drasticly worse and buggier

    I play since release 😊 but on xbox, didn’t have that much trouble apart that I was forced to grind again with WoNY release.

    @GnarlyAtol1793 Well most people were not happy how hunters could shoot through walls, maps had weird holes that would let you fall through, invisible walls, scenary not loading, even more repetition and other varied bugs, it was the buggiest content release of the game but it did get better
