I cant even load the mission "Unwelcome" I dont know if anyone else is having the same problem but its stupid. I just get stuck in a screen and im not able to move or pull up the map. PLEASE FIX

That's chapter 5. Are you that deep into the game already?

To unlock the Unwelcomed, you need to finish the previous quest, The Swan - Road Home. Without doing so, you will not have access to this quest.

Same issue. Done a couple of side quests. 1 raid and now not able to progress with this quest. PS4 gold edition

Then you did something wrong.

There is a huge difference between - a quest doesn't work but I'm already into the game vs the game doesn't even start. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyway, tomorrow i will try to troubleshoot the game myself to find out what's going on.

I don't mind to play the same over and over until i get something useful to start with.

Confirming that deleting all saves works as far as getting to the seers cutscene.
I saved my crew members and went directly to the settlement, picked up the quest for the seer and went straight there, did not pass go, sad to have wasted so much time farming and completing every other quest there was to do in the meanwhile.
Still, second time around I have a better grasp of the controls, its still a little buggy tbh, movements are not as responsive as I'm sure they will be once all the glitches are ironed out....not sure whether to do the update or not now the seers mission finally activated.....I is scared lol
Anxiety intensifies.....

As for the freezing issues, until it gets fixed...

If your game suddenly locks up during a cutscene or another part of the game, you’ll want to force close the game (if you can) and/or restart your console or PC.

@ubi-spud I have the same problem I just walk right into the cabin when the step of the quest is to go there for the first time and it doesn't work. The seer is just working at her table not interactable.

@ubi-swaggins hello is there a plan to fix the bug where i load a new game and the loading screen after the intro freezes. thank you sir

Quick update:

I managed to get through the chapter Family matters and played 3 main missions further. I updated to patch 1.02 and it's still working for me.

If a game does freeze at the loading screen (over and over again) there is only one thing you can do.

1) Close all applications and shut down the PS4 console.

1) Unplug the PS4 console from the outlet or power strip, wait 3 minutes, and plug the system back in.

3) If the issue still persists, you will need to start your PS4 in Safe Mode. Rebuild the database!

Note: Do you get any error code whilst freezing?

If yes, what kind of stuff have you done until you got that quest?

Sorry to ask, but the whole forum structure is horrible!

An update would be appreciated Ubisoft. I am sure that you are working hard on a patch, but there are a lot of faithful customers here that have invested a great deal of money in your products over the years. A simple message of reassurance could go a long way in making the growing mob at your gates.

Same issue, seers solace doesn't exist can't progress in the main story

This was the most expensive demo of a game I've ever played.
