Well the "workaround" worked. (not really a workaround when it involves completely starting over) and now whenever I go to a location where there should be an opal, there's just nothing there. I'm trying to update to 1.02 now, but honestly if that isn't fixed I'm probably just giving up. Not like anyone from Ubisoft will read this.

@ubi-woofer if u restart the game. You will lose your extra mission and stuff you got from the pre order. So restart is not an option.

Same problem on the PC..at the Quest "unwelcome". They remain in the bulding after i have rescued them. Payed 100 on the game to not play it..this is realy nice

@ubi-woofer will I lose my bonus missions ? If If do a new game ????

So I got the ultimate edition, have redeemed my codes, uninstalled the game and installed it with 1.0.2 patch...do I lose all my ultimate edition extras or not ? Thanks

Hey, same problems with seers solace mission, I’ve deleted and uninstalled game started again with 1.0.2 patch does this mean I’ve lost my ultimate edition extras as I’ve already redeemed them ??

@kevyneth If you are on PS4 you can check the PS Store for Addons to AC Valhalla and you maybe you can install the Berserker Pack etc from there

Okay, going back online made it so I could LOOT opals, but when I go into the my inventory it shows 0. What a mess.

There is a quest: Old man on the edge.

I did the quest but my game crashed so i restarted the game. But if i check the World map the quest: Old man on the edge, is still there!?! I can see his horse and crates but i can’t see him because before the game crashed he jumpt off a mountain so he’s dead. But his horse and crates are still heren. Cab somebody help me please.

I deleted all the saved files, restarted a new game. I didn't explore, went straight to the point and it worked AND I still received the bonuses from the preorder and the ultimate version.

So...I bit the bullet and deleted the saved games....
I restarted, went on with my exploring, and after that !
Boom! The mission loaded!!! Im a happy viking

@ubi-woofer this is not good enough! You knew about this bug before release so why not pull the plug on the game for a day or 2 to resolve the issue properly? Instead you’ve released it and what, hoped people wouldn’t notice? And as for the advice “start a new game” - people have spent significant time playing the game and even delaying to wait for a fix. Why should they start all over again? And what if this doesn’t work? This is the first AC I’ve bought for a few years and I’m starting to wonder if I should have even bothered.
