    Hey everyone,

Please find our current list of common issues that are being actively investigated by our development team.

    REPORTING ISSUES

Please report any issues that are not listed below or in the Reported Issue Megathread, on the Player Support section.

ISSUES PLANNED TO BE ADDRESSED WITH FUTURE UPDATES

    ALL PLATFORMS

    Main Quest-related issues

    • Road to Hamartia / Halfdan doesn't follow player
    • In Absence of an Ealdorman / No quest objective

    • Binding Fate / Unable to move after talking to Tyr

    River Raids

    • Legend of Saint George – Bringing clues to Vagn and reloading the first autosave might block progress of River Raids
      • Workaround: Do not use autosaves when returning to your settlement with the clues.

    World Events & Side Activities

    • Thor the Fishmonger / Unable to confirm kill

    General issues

    • Walk speed with disguise is limited with Keyboard input
    • Ubisoft Connect Weapon Rewards downgraded in quality (Spartan Bow, Moonlight Axe)

    • Cannot complete Miracle / Unable to interact with the Lame man

    • Some players are experiencing issues when using Switcher (PS5) or Quick Resume (Xbox) over extended periods of time.
      • Recommendation: Be sure to save before suspending or switch away from the game to minimize the risk of losing progression when resuming play.

    Xbox

    • Photo Mode UI disappearing when switching to Edit mode / modifying values

    PlayStation 5

    • Ultimate Edition content cannot be installed

    • Mari Lwyd costume applied after completing the Glowecestrescire arc (in Glowecestrescire)
      • Note: This is intended behavior in Glowecestrescire. The Mari Lwyd costume will be applied over the disguise when roaming the Glowecestrescire territory.
    • Dropping the torch during battle requires you to aim with LT and press RT to drop
      • Note: This is intended behavior.
    • World event cannot be completed due to various actions.
      • Workaround: To reset, fast travel to a different location and return later to restart.
    • The world map territories do not scale to Eivor’s power level.
      • Note: This is intended behavior.
    • “The Way of the Berserker” and “Legend of Beowulf” can be accessed after founding your settlement in England.
      • Note: To start the quest you need to go to Eivor’s room in the longhouse and open your letterbox and read the highlighted letters.
    • Sons of Ragnar - Interact button to speak to Ubba at the docks only appears at a specific angle
      • Note: This is intended. Players can only interact with NPCs while facing them

    Official Response
  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
