I order it over the ubisoft store with a CD.

Same issue, no gender button thingy responds to mouse and keyboard or controller.

Game will not let me get pass the pick a character screen. Every time I go to press X on any character, nothing happens

When it comes time to select a gender stream the game breaks. Unable to pick so cannot progress. Game was released broken.

Do you use Xbox Pad?
Turn it off.

Anyone else cannot select Eivor’s gender after the prologue? I press or hold the A button and nothing happens. You can see the action of the press, but cannot select any of the three options. Please fix this bug!

I'm having the issue on digital copy for PS4. The cursor was able to move the entire screen, now it'll only go to the three options, but still cannot pick one. My system is up to date, game completely downloaded (I even bought the mid grade deal, so add-ons), and I can't play. I would have never spent $100+ on this game today if I was only going to see the first cutscene, and never get to do any battles.

@matjaz30 How!? I'm being stonewalled by the game. I can click every option, nothing happens.

When it gets to the part you are supposed to choose the gender of Eivor in the beginning, none of the options work when I tap or hold A on the controller. I have hard reset my Xbox and restarted the game multiple times. Not sure if its a bug or what.
