Not sure if its just conflicting inputs or if its a bug but I'm using a controller that should work without problems but when I aim the bow and hold the trigger it locks it and I can't move or anything until It runs out of stamina. This also happens when I get low health in CQC and try to heal or dodge but instead of standing still it repeats the action I input before it started the bug. so ill just start walking away in the direction I input and I won't regain control for at least 3-5 seconds,by that time I'm dead and will be forced to try again.

I bought the game on uplay but wanted to use my switch controller, I tried to get it to work on uplay but it doesn't want to and I'm not sure why. So instead I just play it through steam and im not sure if the bug is caused by that or if I'm the only one with this problem.

Is anyone else experiencing this or should I look for a new controller?

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hi there! I know playing with a Switch controller on PC requires some third party software sometimes, to make the PC think it's an Xbox controller. The Switch controller isn't officially supported for the game on PC which is more than likely why these issues are occurring.

There are programs out there that may help, however we cannot recommend or endorse any third party applications. I do hope you find what you're looking for.

Edit: As we have received no further updates to this thread, I'll now be locking it. Please don't hesitate to open up a new thread, contact us in a support case or start a Live Chat if needing further assistance with this issue or any others. Thanks! 🙂
