    Same for me. No issues with PC performance and all drivers up to date.

    Game seems to be crashing the more I play - just raided my first English monastery and now crashing every 10-15 minutes.

    I may wait for the next game and\or Nvidia update before wasting any more time with this.

    @krvolocan I have 5700xt too, played 14 hours yesterday and today it freezes on the main menu! I had similar problems with origins.

    I doubt it has anything to do with ubisoft+ sevice itself, but the loss of server conection or overloaded servers are more likely culprits.
    I have about 37 hours played since release and close to 50% main story complete. However, the game has started CTD for me today every time I tried to raid the Tonbridge Monasteries in Cent or go near the main fort in Cent, all encounters happening within 10 - 15 minutes of loading my save. I am leaning more to it crashing during information updates to the serve, such as when completing/updating quest objectives or raid objectives. The only crashes I have had prior were mostly during cutscenes and only minimised the game or changed it from fullscreen to borderless window. I did have the lost connection to server notifictaion pop up a couple of times yesterday, but it never effecting the gameplay and disappeared pretty soon after.
    All my drivers are also up to date, my files are fine and my PC should definitly handle it.

    From what I have seen, this game is definitely not polished. There are still a few bugs, glitches and inconsistencies around the game, a couple that stand out good is the flying kayak in near one of the settlements in Vinland or the floating fences in the fields just north of Lunden.

    @ghost_hunter146 I have a temporary fix for that. download a game in the ubisoft launcher, at the lowest internet speed possible and also enable download while playing the game. It works for me, been able to play game in longer session.

    Went back and forth with support for 2 days and did a lot of independent testing. This is an isolated network issue with Uplay+ versions of the game, it seems if even a minor connection stutter occurs your digital license key is revoked until you restart the launcher this is easy to reproduce on multiple Uplay+ titles.

    @valantorcid I'm running the latest nvidia drivers, 457.30, never had a crash since updating to said drivers or since AC V launched. Also win 10 is up to date. Ryzen 7 3700X 2070S 1440p gfx settings at very high and high(custom). I am also on Ubi+. Not saying it's not caused by Ubi Connect, but I rarely get disconnected or crashes in AC V.

    Is anyone still having issues? I still have issues with my game. Sometimes i cant even get past the title screen without it freezing and minimizing. Then I have to bring up the task manager to end the task to close it. I updated my Radeon drivers to 20.11.1 which says that it SUPPORTS AC Valhalla

    9900k, 2080ti, 32gb, ram, 10tb of SSD;s Having freezing issues that started after about 10 hours of gameplay. decided to update to the latest version of game ready drivers available by nvidia. got some better frame rate but worse crashes. Retail version of the game. Really upsetting. =/ Please fix this Ubi.

    This has happened to me on PS4 at least 4 times. Weirdly enough it is during exploration or right before starting flyting/orlog so I don't think that there's a consistent reason behind it. Any insights? It's not game breaking but it surely is annoying to have to constantly re-start the game.

    Played for about 12 hours with little stutter and no lag.
    About 30 mins ago I updated to the latest Nvidia driver (457.30) and RIP game performance; stutter all over and lag when turning character/ship and after about 15 mins of dealing with it the game crashed.
    Funny how an unsupported driver performs better than a driver that has optimizations for this game 🙄
    Not gonna bother with it, revert back to older driver it is.

    @ufamas Nvidia drivers have been pretty crap lately. All their game ready drivers actually runs like [censored] for the specific game.

    I have the game downloaded on ssd playing 5700xt amd 7 3700x 64g ram ect ect.. and this game crashes for me every 5-25mins constantly . SO GLAD I DIDNT BUY THIS POLISHED T-U-R-D of a game got it in a bundle with my amd proc . GODFALL is another title I got with my 5700xt and it runs but the gameplay is trash. Need a big patch to fix AC val it looks like tons of main questline stuff is broken too, I had a quest bug out when I crashed in the middle of it now it won't complete. Have to wait month or two to actually enjoy the game I guess.....PATCH THE GAME UBISOFT!!!

    Hello, This post is for all of you who have Crash to Desktop after around 20 minutes issue with Ubisoft Games (the ones usĂ­ng Denuvo DRM, more or less all the newer games from UBISOFT)

    There are many guides and help out there but as many have experianced they just dont work and are very popular on youtube reddit etc etc, they might work for some but for the majority, games just keeps crashing.

    I too had this issue with Assassins Creed, Watch dog: Legion etc etc and i found out some interesting and very easy fix:
    Your internal clock in Windows is not synced with time.windows.com (The live time sync feature used to set accurate time in windows).

    Yes, if your clock is not accurate the DRM used in games might actually think the game is being tampering with and the DRM does what it is meant to do, stop you from using the license. Mine was 8 minutes behind realtime and this was enough for the DRM to just autoclose my games.

    You can easy check if you have this issue by looking in the log file located in your PC, for me it is as below:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\logs launcher_log.txt
    and if you scroll to the bottom in this file and you find something like this:
    [10188] 2020-10-31 21:47:35 [18108] ERROR DenuvoGetGameTimeTicket.cpp (157) Unknown game response.
    My belifes are that the DRM is monitoring time localy and time on server to determine if the client should proceed with game, and if it differs much, it just belive that there are some tampering and just auto close the game.

    To adjust the clock in windows: right cllick on clock at start bar -> adjust time and date -> and push the "Sync" button.

    I lowered the resolution to 1920 x 1080 - the constant crashing stopped but a RTX 2070\AMD 3900X should be fine at 2560 x 1440. This suggests that it's a video driver or game performance issue.

    I've changed back to 2560 x 1440 but set the max frame rate to 60 so I'll see how this goes.

    I've uninstalled driver 457.30 (latest) and downgraded to driver 456.71 and gone are the issues I had with latest driver. No more mass stutter/lag and crashing, well I only had 1 crash on the latest driver but wasnt gonna bother finding out if I would get more.

    Having the same issue on PS4 Pro. None of the usual fixes have any lasting effect. Game is basically unplayable. Super, super frustrating. Sloppy, unpolished, broken game. Ubi strikes again!

    First crash experienced after downgrading to 1920 x 1080. I think I'll wait for a Nvidia driver upgrade before wasting any more time. This appears to be the issue according to various forums.

    The crashes now are less frequent after they updated Ubisoft Connect, but they still happen.
    This is probably connected to network connection and Ubisoft Connect service, or the servers are
    full and the connection keeps dropping.

    Its no coincidence that during the weekend it was impossible to play more then 2 mins, and now during
    normal work days I don't have so many crashes.

    As for the timezone issue, did that over the weekend, didn't help.
