    Hi there!

    Dear Ubisoft,

    I have a same problem with this bug - the Valka stop walking near to longhouse. 

    I tried England, I tried to push her with a horse... but nothing.

    Also waiting for help 😕

    VALKA ( A WISE FRIEND QUEST) FIX!!!!!!!!!

    I was stuck like everyone, and then I just did Reda Contracts and log out, I level up 3 times, and then when I came back to Raventhorpe Randvi was in the right place outside Longhall, I just did the quest normally. Might be because of the low level (I was 99), and opened the quest for Knut.

    Unable to progress with "A Wise Friend" as Randvi does not meet with Valka

    I have searched online and tried suggestions like validating game files, leaving to Norway and returning to England and this does not work. Randvi does not appear. I cannot talk to most of the NPC's or Randvi to start the quest with her in Gainsbridge. I no longer have a saved file before the '' A Wise Friend '' quest as they are over written. 

    I have too many hours to start again and this is really disappointing.

    I have same issue and now I can not interact with anyone in Ravensthorpe. This game is so sadly unplayable... I'll try again when more bug fixes get pushed out.

    i had exactly the same problem with Valka stopping and have been trying to sort it out for 3 days now. I have only JUST managed to fix it.

    before you go to speak to her, quit the game. This should allow the game to reboot.

    then when you rejoin, before you do anything else -> go to atlas and fast travel to norway.

    this fixed it for me, but if it doesn’t work for you then maybe try what everyone other people are trying and check the data

    I'm glad support is taking this problem seriously.
    It's good to know that they have their customers best interests at heart.
    Oh, wait...SIKE it feels like they don't actually give AF at all.

    This basically pushes me towards never purchasing a ubisoft product again.

    @r3dl1nes I'm doing the Ledecestrescire alliance quest about half way through. I still cant get Valka to do anything. im not sure what you mean by alliance map quest. can you help? Ive done MULTIPLE restarts, reloads and troubleshooting (including building her hut) but nothing has seemed to work.

    And people complain about cyberpunk having bugs. Non of them were as close to game breaking as this. I can't do a damn thing now

    Found a fix. Take up the dumb quest. Go to the point she gets stuck. Put the stupid box down then travel to Norway. Once loaded in go ahead and go back and do it again. All corrected now

    Every time I do a yule mission that has you buying a thing it goes to a way different location and when I do the wise friend mission the girl always stops in a place while I am going to her house to put her stuff there so I go back to her and she's still just stuck and whenever I die I respawn drunk

    Still stuck. Tried everything at this point, except for starting a new game. I'm 40+ hours in and I REALLY do not want to start over. So bummed out about this.

    @shadow2216 No luck sadly, I've tried going to Norway and back before starting the quest, and during it, and Randvi stays stood at the map.

    @wraithcadmus Btw i spoke to them yesterday through live chat and they basically told me to wait for an update... smh

    Hello everyone,

    Thank you for your continued reports. I've passed forward the additional images and video clips we received since my last post. We still need further videos of the issue and save files from affected players on PC and PS4 to pass to the developers, so if you are able to provide either (or both!) then that would be amazing. You can submit your save files to us in either a support case or Live Chat. If you find that you are unable to make a case on our website, or that Live Chat is not available, you can also message us on social media (Facebook / Twitter) and a case can be created for you that way.

    Reading through the thread, a few more workarounds were posted, so I've summarised these again below for you all to try in the meantime:

    • Reverting to a previous save before starting "A Wise Friend" and ensuring that "The Alliance Map" is completed first
    • Fast-travelling to Norway and back, causing Randvi to appear outside the longhouse, and then manually pushing Randvi down the hill towards where Valka gets stuck using your horse before running to the docks and helping Valka as before
    • Build Valka's Seer Hut
    • [PC Only] Closing the game, verifying game files, reloading latest save and escorting Valka again to Randvi
    • [PC Only] Changing graphics settings to high / ultra and reloading the game, then escorting Valka to Randvi

    i had this issue since one week , tired to finish other missions and hoped it will be fixed by then , i have tried everything and still its the same issue , and by loading a previous save that means 75% of the things i did in the game will be lost and i cant afford that tbh

    Well, that worked! I don't know if I should be relived that I've uncorked everything, or deeply worried that it worked. Something about forcing the game to re-render the Randvi model maybe?

    @bas22sam-Oden Hey there! Can you confirm whether you've tried all of the workarounds posted above? If you have, and none were successful, can you please confirm the platform you play on and also whether you've already completed the quest with Randvi to start using the Alliance Map?
