    I updated the game and I lost all my data. I lost everything. What can I do? It's not saved on my ps4 or my 5. Please tell me it's something you can do?

    Could you please answer the following questions for me:

    1. How many hours of progress have you lost?
    2. How many save slots are missing?
    3. How much storage space is available on the console?
    4. Did you experience a crash beforehand?
    5. Have any error messages appeared? What was the message?
    6. Have you lost progress before?
    7. What was the last action/quest performed in-game?
    8. Are you relying on auto save or using manual save feature?
    9. Are you using the Quick Resume / Switcher feature if on console?
    10. When was the last time you were able to load your save?

    Hi,
    last time i played valahha 2021 december.
    around 80hours
    and now 2022 04 09 i turn it on and all progress is lost :(((((
    ps5
    as i see it happen a lot of people after a new patch?

    Hi,
    i played Valhalla arouns 80 hours and last saves game was 2021 december
    and now i open a game again on 2022 may 9 and all progress is gone :(((

    Please note that if your progress has been lost, we may not be able to recover this for you. I understand that this may not be the answer you were hoping for, and apologise for any impact that this has had on your gaming experience. We would like to collect some additional information from you regarding this issue so we can forward your report to the dedicated teams. They can then take a closer look at this as part of the investigation into lost save progress.

    • What platform are you playing on? Have you played the game on any other platforms?
    • How many hours of progress have you lost?
    • How many save slots are missing?
    • How much storage space is available on the console?
    • Did you experience a crash beforehand?
    • Have any error messages appeared? What was the message?
    • Have you lost progress before?
    • What was the last action/quest performed in-game?
    • Are you relying on auto save or using manual save feature?
    • Are you using the Quick Resume / Switcher feature if on console?
    • When did this begin (and what version of the game did it occur on)?
    • When was the last time you were able to load your save?


    The dedicated teams would also like screen captures or videos of the in-game load menu to help better understand the issue.If you could show us what you can see in the save game / storage system menu, that would also be helpful for the investigation.

    @ubi-borealis I am also having the same issue. Although not as bad as @AngelasWild. I purchased the complete edition for PC a while back

    I started a game on my computer a few months ago, and got off the main island. (so no more that 10 hours played)

    I then bought the complete version on PS5 because it was on sale this week. I loaded up the game and noticed there was no load game option.
    I went back to my PC version to see that I lost my load game option there as well.
    I only had 1 manual save that I was overriding each time I progressed.
    PS5 has 200gb of space left, PC has over a 1 terabyte.
    First time losing progress.

    Not a good first sign...might just get my money back for the PS5 version...

    Played for a good bit, then it states it can't save anymore progress. I have space/storage on my Xbox so that its the problem, the game just refuses to save anymore data. I didnt even get to finsh the game.
