    I updated the game and I lost all my data. I lost everything. What can I do? It's not saved on my ps4 or my 5. Please tell me it's something you can do?

    Could you please answer the following questions for me:

    1. How many hours of progress have you lost?
    2. How many save slots are missing?
    3. How much storage space is available on the console?
    4. Did you experience a crash beforehand?
    5. Have any error messages appeared? What was the message?
    6. Have you lost progress before?
    7. What was the last action/quest performed in-game?
    8. Are you relying on auto save or using manual save feature?
    9. Are you using the Quick Resume / Switcher feature if on console?
    10. When was the last time you were able to load your save?

    Hi,
    last time i played valahha 2021 december.
    around 80hours
    and now 2022 04 09 i turn it on and all progress is lost :(((((

    as i see it happen a lot of people after a new patch?

    i played Valhalla arouns 80 hours and last saves game was 2021 december
    and now i open a game again on 2022 may 9 and all progress is gone :(((

I understand that this may not be the answer you were hoping for, and apologise for any impact that this has had on your gaming experience. We would like to collect some additional information from you regarding this issue so we can forward your report to the dedicated teams. They can then take a closer look at this as part of the investigation into lost save progress.

    • What platform are you playing on? Have you played the game on any other platforms?
    • How many hours of progress have you lost?
    • How many save slots are missing?
    • How much storage space is available on the console?
    • Did you experience a crash beforehand?
    • Have any error messages appeared? What was the message?
    • Have you lost progress before?
    • What was the last action/quest performed in-game?
    • Are you relying on auto save or using manual save feature?

    @ubi-borealis I am also having the same issue. Although not as bad as @AngelasWild. I purchased the complete edition for PC a while back

    I started a game on my computer a few months ago, and got off the main island. (so no more that 10 hours played)

    I then bought the complete version on PS5 because it was on sale this week. I loaded up the game and noticed there was no load game option.
    I went back to my PC version to see that I lost my load game option there as well.
    I only had 1 manual save that I was overriding each time I progressed.
    PS5 has 200gb of space left, PC has over a 1 terabyte.
    First time losing progress.

    Not a good first sign...might just get my money back for the PS5 version...

    Played for a good bit, then it states it can't save anymore progress. I have space/storage on my Xbox so that its the problem, the game just refuses to save anymore data. I didnt even get to finsh the game.

    I'm sorry that your game is no longer saving your progress. 😞 Could you get me an image of the error message that says the game isn't able to save?

    @seirny I have the same issue i redownloaded the game on PS5 and have to redo everything even though I completed the season and had a good amount of points already 😞

    • How many hours of progress have you lost? I don't know for sure but I think around 100h
    • How many save slots are missing? 1 I think
    • How much storage space is available on the console? Over 231G
    • Did you experience a crash beforehand? Never experienced 1 before
    • Have any error messages appeared? What was the message? No error message seen
    • Have you lost progress before? No first time
    • What was the last action/quest performed in-game? I actually completed the story and was now just roaming around
    • Are you relying on auto save or using manual save feature? I'm relying on auto safe but use manual safes once in a while
    • Are you using the Quick Resume / Switcher feature if on console? That's possible yes
    • When did this begin (and what version of the game did it occur on)? Version 1.010
    • When was the last time you were able to load your save? A month ago or longer.


    I actually re-downloaded the game started it and after I went into the the game I saw that I had to recreate my character, closed the game looked for my saved data but it only found the saved data of that day (july 15th) and not previous saved data and now I think I lost a lot of progress because of that or is it possible to have multiple characters? Because I really want the one back where I completed the season pass with and completed all the progress and unlocked all the areas, races, and progress
    I know that I had over 900 stars I unlocked all the secret gears that could be found in the world and now I've a character with all the basics and I've to unlock all zones and gears again

    @TheNameIsChapp Has this reoccurred for you since you initially reported it? I also noticed you referred to progression systems from Riders Republic, not Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Can you confirm which game this is in?

    I have the same issue, I spent countless hours on the game, I essentially beat the main story did the final fight and got all of thor gear/mjonir, started doing dlcs and I havent played in a while and when I come back my main save is gone and I lost 20+ hours, im not sure how this happened, this has completely killed my interest in playing this game ever again

    Nothing weird about that, because no matter what happens with the game, earned achievements will never reset.
