I'm getting some annoying ligthing flickering most of the times indoors. With no luck I tried to tweak graphical settings, changed settings in nvidia control panel, rolled back the drivers.
    GPU: GTX 970 driver 457.30
Please submit the issue to the team to fix this as soon as possible.

    Thanks.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@soberstone999 I can barely play my game, inside caves and indoors the lighting will flicker but will sometimes be my entire screen and be so bright it actually pains my eyes. Games barely playable, have updated drivers NVIDIA RTX 2060.

Is this what you are experiencing?

Running RTX 3090, 4k, 120hz , running latest Nvidia driver.

It's not game breaking, it's just annoying, seems to only happen within indoor areas.

@curtishard89 Yes that's it. I know it's just annoying and not gamebreaking, as I said. But still I wouldn't expect this from a Quadruple A game, seems like they never tested it in the first place, game is full of annoying bugs like this. This company seems to never get better from learning its mistakes. I think I'mma short the company stock.

Nothing i tried worked, even when setting ini to read only.
I also tried on Geforce now and experienced same thing, guess its just a bug 😞

Disable motion blur and set DOF to low, it will reduce the flicker but it will not eliminate it and you will also notice some light flickering and glitches here and there.

Hey - that is with motion blur off and DOF at low - its just annoyingly crisp at 4k (possible one of the reasons its so noticeable), oh well, guess ill live with it until its patched, but as its a Ubisoft game, it won't get patched so ill guess ill just live with it 😞

@curtishard89 oh ok, it will be fixed then by a driver or patch, it happened before with AC:Syndicate as far as i remember and it got fixed, but we need to be patient here as there are some game breaking issues that i believe will have the most priority.

Update came out with a patch to fix the lighting, but it didn't fix this issue.
